Ok, so a few questions for you people in here.
1. Is it fine if a quest only has a few pictures of mediocre quality, used only for some of the QM posts, or would you rather it was writefaggotry only at that point?
2. Follow up to that, what's an acceptable quality for a drawing? Is Across the Ocean level gud enough or should I just kill myself?
C. Would you play in a quest that would be set after Equestria is established but before the princesses appear? Or should I somehow fit whatever I'm planning to the timeline of the show?

A. Text quests with sporadic images are nice. It helps solidify visuals and gives direction without having to completely rely on the artist as opposed to your imagination filling in the details.
B. If it's sporadic then the quality of drawing is irrelevant. It's a side benefit, not the main focus, so it doesn't need to be good.
3. Whatever fits your story best.

Crystal Warlock seems to be suffering from the same thing Curwhibbles did. Three times as many words as needed for every single sentence with grandiloquent descriptions for everything. It's ok to just say a thing happens without flowery prose. It's made worse when you try to use words incorrectly.

Its problems go well beyond that.
Double spacing annoys me, but that can be ignored.
Overuse of ellipses and odd use of tildes.
Lots of out of character metaposting during a session
Odd sentence structure, often feels like stream of consciousness.
Grammar could use work; posts need more proofreading before they're posted.
Dialogue's a weak point for this story. Almost every time the characters start talking, it feels unnatural and stilted.

I think the odd sentence structure is a side effect of the same thing that causes the overdescription: Trying to hard. Trying to write like their favorite epic fantasy authors and falling flat on their faces.
