For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.
If you're new, you're gonna fuck up. Don't worry! If you're experienced, dont make the new people worry!

Try being specific, especially about your materials and process. Post pictures whenever possible; even if the kit/part looks bad, you are more likely to get help posting pictures.

Poster count. There were two posters but 3 replies, one of which was "huh?". A few minutes ago he also posted >>14275130 because the poster count was at 5 despite there being 7 posts. If you were asking how we can tell if he's posting under anonymous while using a different IP, then there is no solid evidence. But it's pretty obvious when he replies to himself.

Built my first gunpla and third model ever a few days ago, I just need to go back and clean up some sprue marks, panel line & top coat. I think I'm hooked.
I've only got a bunch of really high grit sandpaper atm, would a nail file work well as low grit?

I used fine sandpaper to try and give the paint a surface to dig into but no point priming 2 pieces just for a test.

You need to prime always, your paint was way to thinned and handpainting is not going to work on bare plastic. Try to get a milk like mix and use very little paint every layer almost like drybrushing
