For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.
If you're new, you're gonna fuck up. Don't worry! If you're experienced, dont make the new people worry!

Got a space type with a mystery bag a few years ago. I like everything about the aesthetic except for the garish propellant tanks on the knees.

Thanks, I tried to do some panel lining on the legs, but I used a light grey, as opposed to a darker grey or black. I'm honestly thinking about going back and doing black or at least the darker grey. Also, some of the panel lining is on the separation between the calf and the rear of the leg, so that didn't really come out very noticeable. Still gotta work on the arms though.

No idea. The only unicorn kit I have experience with is the MG, which is kind of flimsy. However, I love the fact that it has the transformation gimmick, which was the reason I got the kit.

Pixie Gundam, and I'll paint in slave wraith colors if they do. But probably revive ground Gundam so they can finally revive ground GM to go along with this and the ez8s newer proportions. Then they'll revive pbandai blue destiny kits with the new gimmicks from its latest manga.
But as for msd origin feddieprobably reliable unit 4 and 5, revive Alex, or mudrock are only other one year war huge variants. It's not like GM variants had to be prototyped like gouf, Dom or gelgoog. They literally used ground GM data mixed with GM type e data to further refine the GM model from Gundam. Then used GM standard frame to utilize variants like cannon. Then for special roles or suits to counter zeons more powerful suits, maybe aces they refined their variation s of sniper custom and type e into type c, sniper 2 cold climate etc.
Now maybe well get a zanny, or other hybrid zeon to Gundam suit for the data but doubtful.

Koobukiya Gigantic arms is up for reorder. It has a bunch of different forms, works with both FAGs and regular frame arms, looks good on its own, and it seems like in addition the main releases they are selling is two halves separately.

Char would pilot: GM Light Armor -> Night Seeker -> Interceptor -> Custom Gundam. ???? The Gravity Front would be harder to fight in than space, especially considering Zeon's amphibious MS would be sneaking into and attacking Jaburo. However they would still fail as GMs (and all the different variants) are stronger than amphibious suits.

Speaking of, there should be more love for the GM Spartan and Aqua GM. They'd be perfect around the Jaburo area. I have a hard-on for jungle/tropical and aquatic MS. Land Combat/Desert and Armored would be nice too. Or any of the tens of types that are forgotten. I just want some GM variant love.

When the timeline reaches the events of MSG episode 1, it's probably more or less be much the same, except Char would probably back Amuro up in the RX-78-1 once things got too hairy.
Many episodes would highlight how Char manages to perform well despite the Prototype Gundam being technically inferior to Amuro's Gundam, and have him act as a sort of mentor figure to Amuro, while there would be obligatory tension between Sayla and Char because he didn't want her to fight in the war.

Novel had Char's corps and Pegasus crew teaming up after everyone has a newtype moment courtesy of Amuro's death after a battle near the end of the war, but Char never pilots the Gundam. Thinking about it what if they use the origin gouf for msd efreets? New chest and back pack around same frame and build design. New head top pieces, two standard zaku shoulders if not custom type. Arm parts plug in where grey elbow block connects to forearm, slight changed crotch and skirt armor as well as feet. But oddly the biggest reason I wonder this is the legs, even on the demonstration type theres two panels you put on. Even the revive gouf doesn't separate those from the calf armor.

It can be swapped to a bunch of different forms, one of the promo pics is a regular frame arms, and it's koto so it's all 3mm pegs and holes anyways.
Worst comes to worse you may need to drill a hole to connect a hg, although depending on the hg it will probably be undersized.

So just got two hgs from eBay today. A gn archer and a geara Zulu guards type. Well box came smashed no broken parts though and Also they are daban knockoffs. Am I wrong to ask for a small refund? Built the body, the poly caps are in a hard plastic, and the left hand cover is hard to get into but pops out instantly when you put the guns in. Hands are from crossbone maoh.

Don't forget to sharpen the giant safety flag on the tip of the wing. That thing tickled my autism into maximum overdrive.It's possible however that there isn't a safety flag there, I can't really tell from runner pictures and the manual, it appears to be the case though.

The problem that I'm running into with my guncannon is I don't have a model that really complements it, like..
I loved building it, but it has a pretty limited range of motion, and I only really appreciate its "hands holding both cannons" pose, but as a result it doesn't have any buddies, even the other artillery like Virtue just have too much going on to compliment it.

Thanks, it's for a magazine article; a traditional model mag in the US wants to start doing some mecha pieces and they offered me a job after I emailed them. I don't feel like a great builder or anything, but these projects are pushing me and it's nice to have some pressure like that. I almost always build HGs because I enjoy the design and build aspects more than the rest of the process, but I'm doing an MG to give me more to work with. I'm not sure it will be creative enough for a GBWC entry, I might enter a kit just to try the whole contest experience though.

I've been working on the 0083 GM-C and it's very much a dated kit. There is almost 0 surface detail (which is why I chose it) but the internal frame and core block are great. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. It's from the era when they were going for animation look on the outside, detail on the inside.

If you want a kit to compliment the Guncannon, You could wait for the Zaku I to drop on the 19th. The other Origin Zaku kits have been great so far, there's no reason the Zaku I should be different. Or if you don't want to wait, the Origin Waff is also a good complimentary kit, as it's still early Zeon with early Fed.
Or just get the revive RX 78 + Origin Guntank for full modern "Operation V" fun

Buy a pack of square beam styrene, drill a 3mm hole in it. If you want something even easier just buy tubing with a 3mm inner diameter.

I just looked up all that shit for you and it's a super easy fix you goob
you just need to cut the connections off of the leopard shoulders, glue some extra length of runner on there, then plop the gexes shoulders on them. If you have any tools you should pin them with wire so they are stronger, but you really have everything you need to do this.
Also make sure runner is the correct diameter for the gexes polycap, I'm not doing THAT much research, but basically you have everything you need to make an adapter.

For the arms just clip the internal "frame" part with the attachment peg in the top of the arm down enough that you can fit the female polycap from the other set in there. You may want superglue for that but use it sparingly or the cap won't be able to flex enough. You may also need to trim the outside of the cap down with your knife to fit it.
This is probably the more difficult fix of the two and I can't help much more than that without actually having the kits.

Seriously, take some time measuring for the arms, you are changing an M to M connection very close to the top half of the elbow joint, so you are going to need to be careful with posing etc. no matter how you do it. Try to bend the lower elbow joint more than the top after.

the skirt armor around the problem area is covered in super glue because when I was trying to cut out an area for the raised area that side snapped clean off, and the shield had a poorly painted base coat of a weird purple I should have striped beforehand, and the only issue I see on the cannon is this monstrosity which was the result of not something it out after cutting it, which also has glue on it.

Just finished building my first RG, the GP01Fb.
I can see the problems people complaining about, though not really severe in my case. I do have my own part breakage that frustrate me though.
So that's RG. Amazing piece of engineering but I'm not sure if I want more. Maybe I'll just take the Justice and pick HG/MG for other designs.

Why is Bandai retarded at ankle design? Put a fucking hinge on the inside of the lower leg that's supported at the top and inside. Connect it to a ball joint that goes into the feet. It'll let virtually every HG have perfect ankle range of motion that can do perfect splits. Almost all MS have the room for a hinge in their legs.
Are there any kits that are somewhat similar to pic related? I'm not trying to make a replica, just something vaguely recognizable.

Two ways to fix it is to figure out either a poly cap size with ball joint type that would replace the slot polycap end of the ankle joint. Or just a ball joint thats big enough to friction fit tightly enough into the poly cap peg holes for one. And open up the foot sockets rim around the upper edges, but leave the majority of the hole in tact. You dont want to take to much material away that it makes the foot loose or not hold the ball joint.
