Record labels are a thing. Toei works with Avex for Kamen Rider. They're working with Nippon Columbia for Super Sentai. JAM Project is signed with Lantis.
Amazons is actually the odd one out with its theme Armour Zone. Taro Kobayashi who sings it is signed with King Records and it's being released by Nippon Columbia.

1/2The movie opens in Bangkok, where some guys try to jump KR1. He kicks their asses, but it's clear he has some sort of heart condition. Meanwhile, some random guys and Nao have formed Nova Shocker and try to kidnap some 15 year old girl. However, old 70s Shocker shows up and it devolves into a big fight between them, KR Ghost & KR1. Then the scene isn't really resolved and it cuts to like the next day and both KR Ghost and his female friend impersonate the girl's teachers to find out who she is. She's attacked again and KR1 shows up to save her (this is the first time he transforms). She knows KR1 and is pissed at him for some reason. Then KR Ghost and his whole posse go to some temple and find KR1 praying and learn that he is KR1. Then KR Ghost is still impersonating her teacher and has KR1 give a demonstration for like parent day or something. They reconcile and there is a really cheesy montage of them going to a carnival and an arcade. It's at this point that Nova Shocker decides to activate their plan to drain Tokyo's energy. Of course, the girl is on a ferris wheel by herself when the power goes out and KR1 has to save her.

So with the power of Japan entirely drained, KR1, the girl and KR Ghost and his posse go camp in the woods for a few days. KR1's heart condition is getting worse. Then both Shocker groups attack and it is revealed that the girl has the eyecon for Alexander the Great inside of her. This is what they need for their plan. Old Shocker's leader is revived somehow without the eyecon and shows up, too. KR1 then dies while saving the girl. New Shocker ends up with the eyecon. There is a funeral for KR1, where he is burned on a pyre (with some really terrible CG). He is suddenly revived and goes to fight Nova Shocker with KR Ghost and the blue KR. The leader of old Shocker suddenly decides to join KR1 and the bad guys are defeated.
Overall, it was pretty terrible. There was at least 45 minutes of filler that didn't need to exist.

Faiz and Kiva have their good points and both start out surprisingly strong, but the bad ultimately outweighs them especially in the middle part of Faiz and the second half of Kiva. The movies for both shows are pretty good though, especially Paradise Lost.

That's why I specifically mentioned Malika separately. She showed up alongside the other Genesis Riders, so she was introduced with the secondary toyline for that year. She was given quite a bit of focus afterwards for around a solid 3+ months, yet her toy still sold the worst.
It doesn't matter when they introduce a character or how much focus they get, their toys sell like shit, and that is more than enough justification for them to never bother making a female Rider the secondary.

If it helps I've watched Blade with 3 different people and each of them have taken over a year to get past the first 12 or so episodes, then pretty much marathoned it in a week after Mutsuki comes in.
Since we're on the topic of Blade, does Chalice's design have a single flaw? I've had trouble thinking of any. The color scheme is simple but pleasing without being overly edgy either, the patterns are arranged in a way that they stand out without feeling busy at all, it combines the sense of weight that most Blade designs have with sleekness, and the sword bow is pretty unique and nifty as hell.
