For those new to gunpla/plamo or even just new to this thread; please read the guide. Please read it before asking questions as there is a chance it has already been answered there.
For those unfamiliar, "plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model". If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.
If you're new, you're gonna fuck up. Don't worry! If you're experienced, dont make the new people worry!

There is http://www.animere.nl/ which has a decent amount of HG kits and some MGs/RGs, but the kits themselves are obviously a bit more expensive than their price online (but if you include shipping costs it's pretty much the same price). Additionally since their site is literally just some information about the store you can't know what they sell exactly unless you go there and look for yourself.
Most of the time I still just buy from amiami or hobbysearch.

There's A Space Oddity in Amsterdam http://www.spaceoddity.nl/, you can look at their online prices, might be lower in the actual store. Shipping is €6.50
There's also http://gundam-market.nl/
It's online only, and their prices are cheaper (6.50 shipping as well, it doesn't scale depending on the amount of kits you're buying, and if you spend over €100 it's free shipping).
Those are the only places I personally know of in the country that sells gunpla. I've only used Gundam Market myself, and I would say they're pretty good. If I order on a Tuesday it'll arrive Thursday. You can communicate with them easily as well.
You might have local stores that sell them, so it's worth a try to check them.
Ordering from overseas is a different issue

You'll usually have to pay more for shipping no matter the option, and then the customs import duty/tax (21% for toys IIRC) on top of that if you order from Japan or outside the EU, I think.
If you order the, let's say, V-Dash Gundam from HLJ. With the cheapest shipping (SAL, 10 - 30 days) and customs it'll probably be 25 euros in full for it. If you order from Gundam Market, it'll be 24 euros in total with 2 - 3 days waiting time. But it obviously depends on the base cost of the kit you're buying, how many you're getting, and the total shipping costs. You should handle it on a case by case basis. Check if any of the Dutch-based stores online have a kit, and then check the Japanese ones. Order from which one will, in the end after all the calculations, be cheaper.

The Char Zaku II was my first kit from back when I decided to get into building again, it's a solid kit, but there seems to be a few problems with it (weird articulation). Definitely want to pick up the same two kits though, I've wanted an EZ8 ever since I watched 08th MS Team.
How's the Revive RX178? I'm worried it's not going to be very good, but then again I'm spoiled since I already built the AEUG RG MkII.
And yeah, burnout is a real thing. I had an unfinished Barbatos sitting on my desk for the better half of a month because I just had no motivation.

It's fair enough. The problem is that they don't estimate shipping for you (at least I don't remember if they do; it's been like six months since I've last ordered from them) and you have to wait for them to give you a payment quote.
And if you cancel your order, they get hissy and passive-aggressive, eventually cancelling your account if you do it too often.
The Hi-Nu vrabe's coming along nicely. I fucked up on a few spots, but it doesn't look too bad.

I think the Nu looks really good without the funnel rack.
Both that newer white version of the Nu that was retooled into the Sinanju Stein and the Nu vrabe look hella tight.
The Hi-Nu just looks neater thanks to the color scheme and the propellant tanks and the redesigned funnel racks. To me, at least.

metallic silver is just silver pigments floating in clear medium, it evaporates so only the silver is left and it can align pretty well. Model Masters silver chrome enamel is more like aluminum when it's done, but it's really nice for a hand painted finish.
turn signal metallics are a clear enamel with little metallic bits in them, so it's never going to look the same as a regular silver
here's the secret you just learned, nearly all colored metallic paints are shit for gunpla because the scales are way too small and the silver flakes would be 1.5 feet across. Most people who are drawn to this kind of paint are spray canning or hand painting one of their first few kits.
First time doing anything other than straight build
Only painting black/white on in place of decals, panel lining, and top coat. In what order am I supposed to do this?
Right now, it feels like:
1) Panel line/detailing
2) Paint
3) Detach from runners
4) Top coat
5) Assemble
It's what my gut tells me but it feels so, so wrong. Especially the last two steps.

I built the Revive Gundam Mk. II over the weekend.
It's a seriously great kit. Good color separation, great detail and articulation too.
I've got both it and the original HG of the Mk. II and this one's a serious improvement in pretty much every way. I'd get it if you're a fan of it, but it's probably not gonna blow your mind if you've already built the RG.

It's the sexiest out there
Phase 2 of the PG unicorn lighting looks to be a LOT simpler than the RGB stuff.
The hole to attach the thrusters to the kit is exactly the same size as the collar on a 3mm led
so I just need to embed a 2 hole IC socket in the kit and the thruster will be held in place by the led legs, which will also provide power to the leds.
Only 8 of them to wire in too, so with 0.2mm magnet wire its not even a problem.

Personally I think you should build at least 1 HG before you try an MG or a PG. I often see new builders get confused or screw something up fatally when dealing with inner frames or too many parts, and this guy looks like he would do just that. Otherwise I agree, there isn't some huge hurdle to jump over.

It wasnt meant for mobile suit combat, it was a multipurpose infiltration unit meant to get the ground soldiers into the combat zone usually on colonies and such. the mobile suit mode allowed for better space movement and gave it a chance to fight back if mobile suits were encountered. Like a majority of apc though it was armed mostly because it be dumb to make a metal coffin full of soldiers. It fit support, transport, infiltrate, tank, anti personal roles better.

Most HGs use parts-swapping to get a transformation done, with the exception being machines with lazy transformations like the Wing, Wing Zero and the like. Arios is a fun HG kit that has a decent transformation. I've heard the Kyrios is as well.

shades are darker, he's just primed in black which many people do for modeling, but not to do preshading.

Not technically for preshading, but putting down a black basecoat has been something armor plamo modelers have been doing for decades to dull and darken the colors for a more realistic and shaded look. It doesn't work well on colors that are supposed to be bright and vibrant though.

Psycho Gundam only has the one HG kit. It's BIG, but not Neo Zeong/Dendrobium big. Kshatriya is small compared to Dendrobium. Also apparently Quin Mansa is Psycho Gundam -size, so yeah, that actually really should get a kit then. I kept thinking it was a lot bigger for some reason.

The rear part that goes inside the II's bazooka is the original's handle block stuffed in it. You'd also need to completely redo the internal part just past that, either by modifying the regular Seravee's bazooka internals or scratch-building like in the pic you posted.
