Not a movie, it would take more than 6 months to deliver and they are working on too much movies currently to do another one (G-Reco compilation movies, Zegapain, Accel World, NotDunbine sequel, Origins OVA and probably movie-tier for the last one).
I think they did another Buddy Complex, they tested the waters with the anime with a sequel in mind and depending on the success they do more or less episodes.
I can't see Sunrise wasting another 25 episodes on IBO, maybe 2/3 TV OVA to introduce the next 3/4 Grazes Variants they couldn't add in the anime.

Look, the fact Sunrise thinks this show is worth continuing is proof they think it's somehow financially viable. We don't know the specifics and likely never will but it's pretty clear they think it's a good business decision.
They're certainly not infallible in that department, sure, but ultimately they're in charge and all we can do is watch or choose not to watch what they put out.
If you don't like IBO, don't watch it on youtube or Dasuke and your disapproval will show in the official numbers. As foreigners it's all we can really do to affect things, and it's likely not going to matter that much in the long run.

RE:0096 was only announced officially in February, 2 months before it's airdate.
Expect a PV for IBO S2 by June or July this year. There's no reason for them to start production on S2 and released a PV already, given how rushed S1's production seems to have been.

I enjoyed the first few episodes, then my enthusiasm waned as the show went on. Was a little bored by the end of the Brewers arc and by the time we got to the colonies I'd stopped caring. That arc and most of Earth was just frustrating, but there were some points I enjoyed.

We've got 6 months and about 2 weeks until they need to have the first few episodes ready for the Fall 2016 airing. It doesn't take 6 months to make a few episodes. They'll obviously look at reception and do plan it accordingly. Maybe change the staff around too. They can start production in May or June and be fine for October.
