0079 actually has animation nearly on par with IBO and it's 36 years old.
When people talk, they actually move, emote, and express.
In IBO, people talk while standing very still, and you can only escape QUALITY faces by being the focus of a solo shot.
In 0079, you have QUALITY (and even then it's mostly relegated to the first half) and some mediocre special effects because of its time.
In IBO you have QUALITY, shit choreography, sliding galore, and copy-pasted Grazes.
In 0079, character designs are done by the most based Yas.
IBO has YuGiOh hair, whatever the fuck the Brewers were, Chocolate Man's disguise, 15-year-olds that look like they're on roids when they undress, not enough shirtless time, and a generic group of haremettes.
0079 has mecha designs by Okawara. They set the standard for how Gundam mobile suits would look on each side and was responsible for the explosion of plastic models in Japan.
IBO has Barbatos the Anorexic Demon, Pepe Gundam (and Manly Rods), Knight Gundam, and 999 Graze variants.

So what if you like IBO less or more than other gundam shows? It's like having an own (informed) opinion about shows having watched if for yourselves is a foreign notion to you guys.
No I am not saying shows like Seed or Wing are incredibly good, let alone flawless masterpieces. However, the way a lot of people are just parroting the same shit about it makes me wonder if many of you even watched the shows you shitpost about. Also, you guys must be really tsundere cause I still see (several!) threads about Seed and Destiny all the time, even though it is generally considered to be the "worst anime EVER!". /m/ hates every Gundam until about 5 years later when they can think about it objectively.
One of the key problems this place has with IBO, is that it has a very ungundamlike structure.
With long stretches of robots not fighting and people flabbing their gums.
I feel like the show can only really be judged, when we've seen the full story since it's so slow paced and there are no stand-alone episodes.
OP, I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt here and assume English isn't easy for you, but please attempt to use the commonly agreed upon conventions of English when posting.

IBO is the gundam show I wanted to see. The build up to a massive war, the build up of the leaders that will take the reins of the "rebellion" to go up against the current corrupt corperate run "federation". Yeah there isn't much fighting which seems to be what everyone is bitching about ( there is nothnig happening!) and yet i seem to remeber /M bitching that the stories for the last few gundams were shit. IMO this one is a lot better. Its leading up to something,
Full blown war is hopefully around the corner then no one can bitch that there isn't enough fighting. Unless it doesn't get a 2nd season, then we will get a shitty ending leaving lots of loose ends and questions unanswered.
I want to see season 1 end with a big opening battle for the war. one that maybe leaves their gundams fucked, then in season two we see them either redevelop those gundams into new ones using new tech, meanwhile the "feds" have been developing new shit themselves.
