Anime website now has a page for world info, including TSFs. The website only shows MiG-21, -23, F-4, and A-6, but playing around a bit with inspect element and predictable filenames allows you to get at images for the MiG-27, the F-5G, the F-14, and the A-10.

>>13662774
That scene wasn't even in the LN.
Beato executes a ton of people (usually off camera), but she doesn't seem to take a particular pleasure in it. Like in Cage of Stasi, she was rather cool about the whole thing. She asks the deserters for their last words, and then has them shot. No drawing it out, no mocking or gloating, no torture, just a speedy execution.
>>13662904
So I guess they'll be loading the anime with tons of extra scenes to make us hate her. Great. Guess this means they'll be ignoring BiS too to play up the Irisdina is an innocent victim and Beato is a jealous asshole angle. I'm not saying Beato is justified (far from it), but they'll be doing a serious disservice trying to portray the Iris vs Beato conflict as a purely Black and White thing.
>>13662904
>hfw she sees your CIWS
>>13662904
They were worse than deserters, they were defectors, and they shot at her first. Beatrix could've had them shipped back to the stasi rape dungeon for a bit of fun (Axmann would've), but decides just to execute them instead.

>Theo avoids situations, causing him all sorts of problems
>Jurg is one of the best pilots in SM

>Jurg takes on leadership roles
>Theo's perfectly fine with being a grunt
>Jurg's sister turns him over to the stasi to free herself
>Theo's sister turns herself over to the stasi to free him
>Jurg has a terrible relationship with his parents
>Theo loves his parents
>Jurg hits first base by the second volume
>Theo get's to hug Iris in the second to last volume
>Jurg is meant to be likable
>Theo isn't
>Jurg is dead
>Theo is terrorist
>Jurg loves Beatrix

God damn, why is it that possibly the sexiest chick in a series renowned for hot girls have to also be one of the worse and nightmarishly evil villains the mecha genre has ever seen. I know I should absolutely hate her, that her death would make the world an infinitely better place. I know that I should be cheering the heroes on whenever they try to hurt or kill her, but how can I when she's making my dick a 12 on Moh's scale of hardness?
>>13664278
She did nothing wrong.
Now sign the paper and get your fucking Stasi uniform.
>>13664324
I want to... protect her, not hurt her, but I'm a moralfag. I'd normally be going for Iris's type. It's like she's some sort of witch that's got a spell on me.
>>13664340
>I want to... protect her, not hurt her, but I'm a moralfag.
You can't want to protect her and be a moralfag at the same time.
You have to chose your path.Being without moral is not that bad, I have been doing fine so far, and you won't be blinded by other people standards calling themselves " Good " that way. Far better to have a clear mind if you ask me.
>>13664324
>She did nothing wrong.
How do you figure? I'm willing to listen to a counter-argument to all those accusations the Irisfags have been leveling at her.
>>13664384
That was a troll.
If you are a moralfag, she certainly did a lot of things wrong.
For me, it's not that wrong as I hate the rebels. She have basically reasons to do everything she did, regarding what she wants to do with East Germany and on the Stasi/Soviet side.
I should scan the pages of the LN and translate the things that are more on her point of view to just use direct sources to back the Beatrixfags and prove them there is nothing wrong to like her if you put morality aside. Maybe I will do that before we have the anime ( Which seems to go 100% on the rebel side ) but I can't guarantee it as I will not be home to do it before one month or two.
For way better arguments as I'm not wanting to get into a debate right now, there have been a lot of really good posts in the past threads ( Though it should be old now, probably 8 or more threads away ). You could lurk the archive if you really want counter-arguments.
>>13664278
If it's any consolation, there will hopefully be lots of rape doujins.
>>13664405
Yeah, like >>13662904 , I don't remember Beatrix being super murder happy. She kills a lot, but she isn't crazy about it, it's just something she feels she's gotta do (unless Iris is involved). I don't remember the execution scene the anime is showing in the PV either. Her first scene with Axmann is at a briefing/prep talk for the Werewolves (which also serves to highlight the different leadership styles the two have and their tension around one another), not an execution.
Beatrix is difficult to peg though. It's often hard to tell when she's being an extreme troll or genuinely sadistic (like implying that she had Martin killed to Gretel or implying she'd kill Lise in a spar)
If you've read the whole series, you should definitely see about correcting or adding to the wiki with it.
Also, her final words have been finally translated here (maybe you can corroborate it): >>13663295
>>13664405
Didn't the rebels have their reasons too? Why do you hate Iris and them over Beatrix and the stasi?
Not trying to start an argument or anything.
>>13663298
Humanity is doing reasonably well after Operation Ouka and there doesn't seem to be a stasi world order afterwards, so I'd say she was wrong in the long run, even if Germany got screwed.
>>13664449
Yeah, but the majority of the world did end up adopting more autocratic, "stasi" like measures as things got worse, and Beatrix would absolutely love somebody like Yuuko, so you could argue that she was still right.
>>13664410
I want a vanilla doujin of adult Beatrix with adult Jurgen.
>>13664324
> she did nothing wrong
nice baito.
>>13664443
I usually don't like people who talk without knowing.
The rebels had reasons, yeah, but from their tiny point of view. They just saw the surface of things, and decided to go all out based only on that. Besides, I consider that when you have an Alien race wanting to eat all your species, your living condition and sense of freedom is clearly not what matters.
I'm not defending the Stasi though, they did a lot of things wrong and, even if I don't care about morality when the goal is worth it ( As are most if not all of Beatrix actions ), torturing/killing people just for fun is not really necessary. But it's mainly the fault of Schmidt and Axmann here. I really think having Beatrix in charge of the Stasi would have change things while maintaining a necessary iron hand on the country ( And even on Europe ) to survive the BETA.
>>13664439
Can't confirm the exact translation as I need to read it again and in context, but her final words are definitely like this.
>>13663972BROTHER
>>13664515
You should translate her final fight scene. If it's anything like other anime/LN, you'll get the best, most concentrated and unfiltered look at a villains motive and world view in their final dialogue/actions.
>>13664487
>>13664410
I'd kill for a doujin involving Theo and Beatrix that reenacts their final battle as a sexual encounter/rape.
>>13664454
To an extent, but by the time of Alternative, as callous as, say, the American or Japanese could be, they never seemed to be as outrightly malevolent as the Stasi was, either with Beatrix or IRL. Perhaps the world moved closer to authoritarianism as time passed, but it never reached Beato's level.
>>13664559
I'd say that's more the fault of the stasi over her than anything else.
>>13664542
As I said, I won't be able to get my hand on the volumes before I go back where they are in one or two months ( More like two as things goes up ).
Though I don't remember any important dialogue taking place near the fight scene between Theo and Beatrix. They kinda just get into it. I don't even think she tried to explain anything or make him change camp in a last attempt. She just wanted to kill him because he was in the way ( Actually that's him who wanted to kill her in the first place ).
I really need to reread it though, I forgot a lot of details.
>>13664605
You see, this is why it should've been Iris who took on Beato. Theo vs Beatrix just isn't very compelling at all.
>>13664617
As I don't like Theo, I'm with you there.
Especially now that we have a lot of background for the two of them in BiS.
But I don't think we would have got anything really different. Maybe some sentences on their past here and there, but they had a lot of time to talk already, so I dunno if they had speak more. Though as it would have been the fight they have so long waited for, maybe they would have said their last thoughts on each other. Surely it would have been way more interesting on the overall story that what we got.
>>13664636
It's about buildup and resolution, something Beatrix vs Theodor just doesn't have. Neither of them really know each other, and both are tied to each other by their relationship with Iris anyways. Beatrix wouldn't hate Theo if not for Iris, just like Theo would still dislike Beatrix, but nowhere near the intensity to want to murder her. Also, I heard from a couple of other anons that the final fight was kinda disappointing from a action-y standpoint. It was more Theo executing Beatrix in her damaged machine than a proper final battle.
>>13664660Yeah, that's kinda that. As I said, they just get into it, and puf, penetration.
>>13664665The final image even show her knocked down/disabled and Theo moving in for a coup-de-grace. Man, I really dislike Theo, especially if the Jap wiki (link below) turns out to be true and he executed the remaining Werewolves in cold blood after they surrendered.
https://ja.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A5%E3%83%B4%E3%82%A1%E3%83%AB%E3%83%84%E3%82%A7%E3%82%B9%E3%83%9E%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B1%E3%83%B3&oldid=54379048

>>13664689Axmann doesn't get away, does he?
>>13664715He does.
>>13664723
No he doesn't. You haven't read the LNs, just the animesuki spoilers like everyone else. Axmann'sexecutedafter his hostage plan goes awry byHeim's soldiers.
Stop peddling your shit. You're almost as bad as those Irisfags.
>>13664737
Irisfags tend to be more right then him. She's like a female Reinhard Heydrich (the guy who drafted the final solution and a certifiable sociopath), only more sadistic. Axmann may focus his evil towards one individual, but Beatrix tries to hurt as many as possible to get her jollies, which is why I'd say she's even worse than him.
I don't know why he's lying though. Maybe he just wants to protect his waifu. Trick is, take Beatrix's gender and physical appearance out of the picture and what are you left with? Your left with a monster who ranks right up there as one of the most horrible characters ever seen. She'd make likes of Johan Liebert blush at the stuff she gets up to on a daily basis.

>>13662220
W-what is Mother Russia doing here?!
>>13664822
Imagine reading about Hitler doing cute things as a child. It doesn't really change anything, you'd still want him dead.
It doesn't matter Beatrix's age, I still despise her. I hate her so much that I even want to see her prequel self lose everything, suffer horribly, and die (of course, you don't learn sociopathy, you're born with it, so she probably wasn't that "innocent" to begin with).
As for Jürgen, I'd like him, but his association with Beatrix makes it very difficult. Iris is OK, but the story doesn't seem to really focus on her unfortunately.

Well, there's simply isn't much of a reason for her to appear in front of the heroes at this point. She's definitely not an ally, but at the same time, she isn't in direct conflict with them yet. >>13666612
Story is told through limited PoV. He calls her bewitching when he first sees her, and in one of the side stories, he gets a distracted by her glamour when she's talking to him through his video feed.
>>13666612
>>13666622
Just to clarify, he still thinks Iris is the end all, be all in the beauty department.
whut?
>>13666823
OH SHIT
>>13663565
Yui dies in the VN? Fuck everything.
>>13666823
JAPAAAAAAAAN
>>13666947
Best girls don't stand a chance against Theodor.
If Beatrix is worse girl, why does she keep beating Iris in the polls.

>>13665767
Why does Kouki like her so much?
>>13666990
>Why does Kouki like her so much?
hard M, i'm sure that PR girl punish him everytime in his secret dungeon
>>13667071
PR girl is very annoying, makes me close the stream everytime she appear and start yelling
>>13666990
She is literally perfect, what's there not to like about her?
>>13667073
I usually just drag the stream to my second monitor and mute it. I'll glance at it every couple of seconds, and tune in/snap a pic if something interesting is happening.
>>13666990
>>13667071
Yuuko is Kouki's undisputed favorite and Beatrix is very similar to Yuuko in a looot of respects.
>>13666974
Because Iris pretty much gets BTFO by her in BiS (check out some of the reviews on Amazon to see Irisfags swapping over to Beatrix after reading the first volume).
>>13667080
Oh so that's his pattern
Not giving proper routes to the character he likes the most.
>>13667077
Uh, because she's evil and gets off on hurting people?
>>13667094
What happened?
>>13667097
He ended up pushing for Yuuko to be one of the main heroines/routes in KimiMuv (along with Meiya and Sumika).
>>13667102
From the comments, it's because she has better chemistry with the MC (and is cute as fuck).
>>13667098
So?
>>13667113
>KimiMuv
Is this released?
I actually haven't played anything age outside of Muvluv.
>>13667113
Here's the pic.
Also, unlike Yuuko, Beatrix had her shot at true love already, and you know how Age is about NTRing girls away from their OTL, even if that lover is dead. So the chances at a romantic route with her are very slim, unless they do a noncanonical "what-if" game with Jurgen.
>>13667126
I'd love a game with Jürgen. The setup would be that he survived the purges and now has to deal with his estranged sister and crazy/indoctrinated former lover. The game would have multiple endings, with an actual happy Beatrix ending being nearly impossible to get (you'd end up killing her in the majority of the endings for maximum depression).
>>13667123
No, it's not out.
>>13667121
I mean, if you're fine with basically loving a mass-murdering, concentration camp running complete monster, be my guess. I'll be with the superior option, thank-you very much.
>>13667126
>unless they do a noncanonical "what-if" game with Jurgen.
This would have been much better than what we are getting now.
>>13667150
Why? Theo isn't that bad in the VN, and Iris isn't a terrible heroine (fucking game railroads you too her though, which I hate).
>>13667150
And what exactly is your problem with "what we are getting now?"
>>13667198
He probably wants a Beatoroute.
>>13667250
Who wouldn't?
Even as Irisfag, it's just not fair she doesn't get anything.
>>13667307
Again, she get's BiS. It's even a real romance instead of the friendzoning shit you get with Iris (seriously, Theo risks his life for you and all you do is give him a hug; Beato gave Jurg a big kiss first thing when he came back from the front),
>>13667307
Well, she is the MAIN villain, and they tend *not* to be romanceable.
>>13667324
It's not like I'm asking for romance, and Jurg isn't Theo.
Jurg a shit.
You guys sound like the Nips with your obsession over him and Theo hate.
http://community.muvluv.moe/index.php?/topic/294-revised-muv-luv-alternative-introduction-lines/
>>13667335
A Liseroute would be awkward, especially with Theo in love with Iris at the end of the first VN.
>>13667346
I like both of them.
>>13667346
It's just an extension of waifufaggotry.
Beatofags tend to like Jurg, and Irisfags tend to prefer Theo.
>>13664737
Wait, by reading the today posts ( Just got back from Christmas party with friends ) I kind of guess you were talking to me ( ie. >>13664665 and before in the conversation I had with you I guess ) with the " You haven't read the LNs " part, but just to clarify, I didn't wrote those posts >>13664689 >>13664723. I went to bed right after I posted >>13664665.
And if you weren't talking to me, do as if I had said nothing then.
>>13667348
Seems good so far, even if I really like the japanese version with their particular accent. Sure, it's pretty much non-immersive ( And grammatically awful ), but I dunno, there is something to it that I love.
>>13667379
No matter what happens, the HUMEN...BREHNS! bit will never fail to make me laugh.
>>13667379
Alright, cool, but you'll probably have to do a bit of ethos building to get your rep back (kinda hard to do on an anonymous image-board, but you do have a very idiosyncratic way of typing).
>>13667379
So the guy answering all the question was completely wrong, right?
>>13667399
I didn't knew I had a rep, but ok. Is that some kind of attempt to force me to do the scans and translations as soon as I can ?
And for my way of typing, I guess it's because I'm not an English native speaker ( Though I use it on a daily basis for months, unfortunately I can't speak Swedish ).
>>13667436
For the " He did " and " He does " posts ?
The first is rightTheo execute them to wipe the rest of the Stasi wardogs, especially because they were totally loyal to Beatrix. It's not said, but I guess he just wanted to let nobody try to get in the way of the Rebellion again, and obviously killing them is an easy way to do so. The second, as stated, is wrongAxmann is shot not long after he kills Iris.
>>13667379
Beatrix'sdeathdoesn't make a lot of sense. You'd think something as big as Theo's ciws would pretty much instantlymulchher, but instead she's still capable of talking to Theo. We don't really see herbody or blood pool like the other dead named characters, and Gretel turned out to be alive despite bleeding out in a burning building, right?
>>13667554
>Gretel turned out to be alive
The story ends without even revealing her fate and the last we see of her she's in that burning building. What even clarified that, outside of some Wiki edits that anyone can make?
>>13667562
Still, Beatosurviving penetration by a CIWS, even for just a moments, makes as much sense asGretel surviving her gutshot and stasi HQ burning down around her.
>>13667582
That doesn't answer my question.
Also you can ditch the spoilers, we all know what happens.
>>13667554
It would have probably been worse if she couldn'tsay something while dying. Her death is really made up to be somewhat dramatic, hence the fact that we don't see blood. Besides, with the type of death she got, it was either she could speak some last words and we couldn't see the body, or we could see the body but she could clearly not be able to say anything.
For Gretel, isn't it said in Requiem ? I can't confirm this, I didn't read them myself, but I think I heard that somewhere.
>>13667584
Well, it was mostly what I read on the Japanese wiki, and what one of the Chinese translators said.
I haven't read the final four chapters (haven't been upload yet).
Also, spoilers tags are more of a courtesy.
>>13667601I thought her final fight was more of a quick and dirty thing. Theo pretty much had the upper hand at that point, so it was his fight to lose. From the spoilers, apparently the Lise fight was better.
>>13667603
Ah, so a very reputable source, then.
Calling total bullshit on that.
Best I can do until I get the final chapters. I trust this guy >>13667601 more than you though.
>>13667617Oh it was quick and dirty, not even a real fight actually, but the last words she says are very strong ones. Her death get a kind of special description not like the other ones, where you see the body and the text is really describing how it is. Here, it has a very dramatic feeling. I can't remember the exact words, but it was definitely something with a slow pace, not actually describing the scene but more imaging it.
>>13666823
Is this just another derivative of the Shiranui 2nd Phase 3?
>>13667638
Yeah, just thought it was weird. SM doesn't shy away from the guro (see Inghilde and Vivi). Even minor characters get some pretty nasty descriptions for their deaths. The one I remember is the stasi girl who gets bisected by one of the 666. The novel describes her emotions and pain as the blade slices into her and then the next scene shows her destroyed cockpit leaking blood down her MiG-23.
Just found it strangeBeatodidn't get something as explicit.
>>13667659
>. Even minor characters get some pretty nasty descriptions for their deaths. The one I remember is the stasi girl who gets bisected by one of the 666. That sounds like engaging in sadism for the sake of it, really.
Who cares how messily some faceless nobody dies?
>>13667757
She wasn't exactly facelessshe was Lise's stasi friend or something, and her gory death served to horrifyLise and Annete.
>>13667757
I think that's actually important.
More details is always a plus.
>>13667779
If you want to come across as a guy that has problems, maybe.
>>13667793
>Le edgy meme
Please, actually knowing what happen to generic mooks is great, maybe they die in horrible fashions but what if one actually survive, etc?
The kind of thing that gives more depth to the story and the setting. I'm sorry if you're too pleb to get the point.
>>13667808
>Please, actually knowing what happen to generic mooks is great, maybe they die in horrible fashions but what if one actually survive, etc?
I dunno, you tell me.
What relevance does the the issue of survival of faceless expendable grunts have to do with anything?
>describing the last, pathetic moments of some nearly faceless cannon fodder gives richness and depth to the story and setting
We already know the world of Muvluv is a shitheap, there are other ways to emphasize that outside of coming across as a person who loves guro.
>>13667348
>Delta Company changed to Delta Squadron
why
>>13667854
I think it was more to emphasize that this was a human (and a cute gril) being killed in a rather horrific way by another human.
>>13667854
She wasn't faceless. She had a name and had popped up in the story beforehand.
>>13667894
That face is begging for a sword to begin with.
>>13667924
Annete had been shittalking her, so this was the "slapdown."
>>13667921
Now now, I did use 'nearly'.
Doesn't really serve as justification, though, personally.
>>13667935
I wouldn't say she's a mook, not any more than a member of the premier special forces outfit in the DDR. She actually did pretty well considering she was outnumbered. She was juggling both Annete and Gretel (even managed to down the commissar) until she got distracted trying to saveLiseand had to deal with both Theo and Lise tagging her.
>>13667951
>Downed one of the worst pilots in the unit by the story's own admission
Well.
At least Anette's a step up.
>>13667894
Well, I'm just saying it's excessive. And considering this thing apparently goes into her last feeble emotions and and pain and thought processes as her body is brutally pulverized by a blade several times her size in length, going over the moments as metal bites into her skin and god knows what else, I think 'edgy' is a bit apt here, funnily.
Guy who called me that still hasn't addressed what relevance survival has in this case.
>>13668070
The last arc is extremely edgy. The rebels do their share of torturing and warcrimes by the end. When Gretel becomes the voice of moderation and reason, you know you've crossed a bridge too far into "Crazy Land."
>>13667080
>Beatrix is very similar to Yuuko in a looot of respects.
What about Mitsuko?
>>13668105
Depends, do we get to see how she acts when the chips are down on the table like Yuuko in Unlimited/Alternate. I'll give you that looks wise, Beatrix is definitely closer to Mitsuko than Yuuko though.
>>13668120
I always thought she was the most beautiful of the Kouzuki sisters, even if Yuuko is my favorite.
>>13668075
Well, kinda proving the whole bit there.
Just smacks of off-putting fetishism as opposed to 'world-building'.
>>13668140
She's the sluttiest too.
>>13668176
Does she put out. That's the key, because as slutty as Beato may be, she's just doing it to tease/troll.
>>13668188
>see though dress
>no pantsu
>>13666964
Welp, that goes any and all sympathy I had for the guy. Fuck him with a rusty pole.
>>13668213
We can't see her crotch, so she may have panties on.
Or not, as far as we know.
Actually, this simple thought is doing wonders to my dick.
>>13668176
>>13668188
She has a route too, unlike Beatrix.
>>13668215
Going down the canon path, he's supposed to be unsympathetic. Theo's an anti-hero, hence as he slips into the dark sidehe starts doing a lot of shitty things like letting enemies surrender to him before shooting them all up.One thing the LN points out is that none of the other 666 were doing some of the shit he was doing to get back at the stasi. At the end of Volume VI, he even made Katia cry because of all the bad shit he'd been doing.
>>13668230
>>13668230
She doesn't have a route actually.
>>13668250
Never played KGIK, so sorry, thought she did. Oh well, one more similarity between the two.
>>13668284
She sleeps with Masaki in the common route. Because she's a slut.
