my dad became my bestie after I told him I was gay. We go to pubs and shit all the time now. My anxiety levels were off the charts before coming out and now I have the best time ever.
He's a little uncomfortable about overt discussion about my relationships so everything has to be done very natural and subtle but ultimately that's not a big deal. My parents cut me off for being a gay nonbeliever. They already were disappointed in me for not aspiring to anything past a high school diploma.
