I think one of the misconceptions we have about hetero and homosexual perspectives being analogous is that hetero males worship female beauty while homos worship male beauty.
I don't think this is an accurate comparison. Heteros are bound by many things as innate perpetrators of the population. The lifestyle itself is not just a matter of preference, but simply lots of disciplines: monogamy, family law etc.
So what they like really has little to do with the lifestyle. Their culture seems to be in crisis because they have forfeited so many of the disciplines that kept them socially elevated. They can engage in anything so much that the relatively new concept and term 'heterosexual' now mean little about themselves and more about chastity from homosex.
Meanwhile, our values have always had the luxury of being more elective. All through history, we see that its not so much the worship of males but of male youth. Perhaps because it seems that the true engine of society always seems to emerge during that age at the height of a male life-span, the late 20's.
So in my view, the ideal age of a male to live as or as appeal is about 26.
What do you think? Is your vision of the ideal period different, and if so why? It might be interesting to state your age also for perspective.
I pick 26, because by then, I think a man has truly learned what the world is and how it works, and then has the confidence of experience rather than theory. The ancient Greeks saw it a bit differently, they saw it as just a bit past prime; 25 was the marrying age among Spartans for males, 15 for females. Until that point, they still were glorified as demi-gods. They were considered men at 20, but not mature for family until 25.

Surely there must be some nightlife in the next largest city. Even smaller cities have parties for gay folk about once a month.
Other than that I recommend using dating apps. Grindr has a pretty bad reputation, but it still is really popular. When it comes to other apps I found that the popularity depends a lot on where you live.

1) Take care of your skin. My regimen goes like:
>AM: salicylic acid cleanser, daytime moisturizer with SPF
>PM: oil cleanser, salicylic acid cleanser, nighttime moisturizer
I use a knockoff Clairsonic for the cleansers by the way and pay extra care to exfoliating the skin under my chin where I get the most hair growth and irritation. Wearing SPF when you're outside during the day is crucial, as is staying hydrated.
2) Shave as best as you can. Use a shave gel/lotion that won't dry out your skin because that will irritate it. Note that most common shaving creams contain alcohol and that's a nono. Shave with the grain first, then against (reapplying your shave whatever), using your free hand to pull the skin taut and using short strokes with light pressure. Use as few passes as possible, and pay extra care and attention to your chin/jaw where you can't just pull the skin flat easily. Don't use razors more than a couple of times, and sanitize them with some rubbing alcohol after every use.
3) Wear nice makeup. You want at *least* a good primer and a buildable foundation (I suggest powders for this). I'd also suggest a lightweight concealer that's just a few tones oranger than your skin tone, which you can apply to your upper lip/etc. to hide "blue" facial shadow, and a setting spray too since upper lip is one of the areas on your face you're most likely to sweat through, especially if you're wearing concealer (which is why lightweight is crucial). And back to 1 for a second, oil cleaners make for great makeup removers - always remove your makeup at night or you'll get clogged pores, and places you shave with bigger pores because of the hair shaft can be especially prone to this.
4) Laser. This is where having clear skin becomes extra important, because you want to have a very good/close shave, which is more difficult when your skin is irritated to begin with. Get a Tria if you can handle self-inflicting pain or go to a clinic.
