There has been a major incident in Ottawa, Ontario today. Two soldiers were shot at the National War Memorial. Following that, a shooter entered Parliament, and there are reports of further shooting at the Rideau Center. Cellular jammers have been deployed.
Everything is confused at the moment, so it's difficult to say much beyond that definitely.

While correct, that's a bit of an incomplete answer.
In order for an aircraft to turn, you need to bank it and place the lift vector outside of purely vertical. Once that happens, if you want it to turn faster and have a smaller turn radius (assuming constant airspeed and altitude), you need to pull back on the stick. This causes centrifugal force (inb4 it's a pseudoforce, I know but let's just go with it) to press you down in your seat, increasing the number of Gs you feel.

I live in a rural area and go into the the mountains alone fairly often (I'm heading out not as a matter of fact), and I usually go alone. I've spent most of this year hiking around the woods here and I've run into moose, bear and elk. I was wondering what would be the best method to protect myself in a confrontation? If I were to get a gun what would be the best choice? Is bear spray enough? Does it also work on moose and elk, that I run into much more frequently?...
