there's not really that much to it though mate. run analysis on soil samples from prospective plots (this costs a little tho) & understand the local microclimate. throw up polytunnels and plant clones/saplings into airpots with a nice mix. plant out 2-3 years later at the appropriate spacing with an auger to dig holes, with lab suggested amendments. Put irrigation if required. Sit back and chill.
I do realise I'm suggesting this with some knowledge of (illegal) agriculture to start off with but it ain't that difficult. Renting (better) lands would probably have a better short term return, I admit, but it's different from what I'm suggesting.

His files were unrecoverable by the ransomware, search every possible source I could but found no solutions whatsoever and definitely all of his data had either been corrupted or encrypted, same shit actually since I couldn't save them
So I began zeroing his disk and partition it, meanwhile I called him and told him he's dun guffed and he's never gonna recover them, he was so fucking oblivious he asked me if there's a possibility to recover them in the future and I told him no while I was facepalming
Then, proceeding with the installation, I put on a Win7 Ultimate SP1 build with all updates till November. And still, the shit wouldn't start updating, stuck for like 5 hours on "searching for updates"
Then I've put manually the WinUpd hotfixes that needed to get the shit running, left it open and from the logs I saw it finished on 4pm, after installing ~70 updates and rebooting
I woke up at 7 and tried to put on the lesser ones, 8 + 1 for the Greek language pack, the shit was stuck at 0% and just looking for solutions
I called him now and he said he doesn't know how to work with Linux and he wants to have a computer with MS office, so Linux got kicked out of the door
