Should also be mentioned that Zaha Hadid died the other day. While I wasn't generally a fan of her architecture, she had some decent stuff on her record and was definitely an important architect for better or worse. Posting a bridge of hers, as we need some infrastructure in here from time to time.

Yeah it's pretty small in size. It's like a 30 minute bus ride from one side to the other. We do have a few big cities in the UK, but it really is only a few in comparison to how many you have in the States.

It's the Guardian Building in Detroit. It's supposed to be art deco with a Mayan/Native American spin. At one point I think it was the largest brick building in the world.

These are the best from this thread in terms of full cities, and that means mid rises. Let's stop just posting pics here and discuss, I think the best model for cities is one where most of the city's area is composed of mid (4-7 floor) rises and a skyscrapper (ideally with art deco ones, but it's never coming back) zone, with plenty of parks and town squares around. To top it, a forest ring on the outskirts of the city is ideal, but not necessary. It helps to fresh the air a bit and mark clearly where the city ends, and so avoid the retarded urban sprawls such as mexico city and são paulo.
