Set an alarm for yourself at the same time every morning. Decide how much sleep you need, and set a regular bed time accordingly. I have always thought it sounded a bit rough, like calling dinner "tea" or a quilt a "doona". Not sure if that's accurate or not, but in any event I say "porcelain", as does all my family, and as far as I can recall I've only ever heard "china" in American media.

I wish we had them in Australia. The only hot-springs I'm aware of here are out in the middle of nowhere, require bathing suits, and are attached to creepy new-age "health retreats" such that one needs a booking.

The explanation I've seen is that, whereas the rich could eat a small afternoon tea relatively early and then eat a proper dinner (or supper) late, the poor would be tired and hungry from work, and would need to eat a big meal when they finished working; they took to calling their main evening meal "tea", since that was what the rich would be having at the same time of day. Thus this use of the word has nothing to do with the content of the meal.
