If you're aiming to be able to speak fluently, your best bet is to speak more often with native nips and correct your mistakes along the way.
All you need is grammar knowledge and decent vocabulary.

So jap, I'm trying to translate a bit and it's mostly going fine, especially with all the furigana. Still, this page has me a bit confused with the 言うなら. Negations act so different in japanese, english and german to some degree, that I have no idea how to interpret it.

Obviously talking to native speakers is the best way, but failing that watching the news or Japanese television (probably not anime) is your next best option. Some shows have Japanese subtitles to go along with the audio, which is useful if you're trying to work on listening. I suppose audiobooks would be useful if you could find some, but it might be hard to keep interested if you can't really understand the content. I would steer clear of anime unless you've nothing else to use, because the way the characters speak tends to be unusual. Music is also good for passive familiarisation, especially as you can check the lyrics; although obviously it won't get you used to regular conversation, it's a bit of a challenge to distinguish sounds (and unlike with anime, you are not at risk of picking up the habit of learning to talk like people sing).
