Saw it last night. OG trilogy > Ep 2 > Force Awakens > Ep 1 and 3
It was really fun to see a classic dated sci fi series brought to life with new age special effects and editing 2bh. Not a great movie but you don't really watch star wars for great plot or characters either.
Solid 7/10. Was very surprised Abrams managed to contain his editing autism in regards to lens flares and other stupid "cinematic," shit and kept more of a George Lucas feel to the whole thing.

If you like YAish books, or mild steampunk, go check out the Emperor's Edge series. First book is free on Amazon, or at least it was last I checked. She didn't have an editor for the first two books as a warning, but it is a solid series.
