Don't bother. The definition of socialism changes as it suits socialists. I was talking with a bunch, and when I said socialist was popular in Europe, using Euro socialist parties as an example, I got the usual "lol you don't know anything about socialism", because those parties aren't socialist!

Until they need to tell an American how great socialism is, of course.
>>
there is a baseline definition

the difference comes from the interpretation of the baseline, which is "social" "ownership" of "production"

because socialism is the reason why my country is so behind the rest of europe, the reason many of my countrymen were killed during the martial law for believing in freedom and democracy for poland, for fighting the nazis on the wrong side (Armia Krajowa, NSZ, Western Allies - people from these armies were killed, even those who refused to join anti-communist organisations and wanted peaceful life in the people's republic)

it's the reason for millions of deaths, families torn apart, entire nation keked out of their identities

There is is! The magical NO TRUE SCOTSMAN!

Well, you heard him, after trying to implement socialism, getting support from socialists all over the world, and influencing socialist politics worldwide, the empire fell, making its ties to socialism inconvenient, and now it's no longer socialism.

Of course, because people tried to implement socialism and, by socialists' own admission, didn't achieve it is no reason at all to doubt the ideology, or even change it! No, everything is magically still OK with socialism, and it's just the right wing Nazi bourgeoisie that REALLY ruined it!

Socialism is a think form invented in the time of enlightment in France.

It's a moral system where the good of a group is seen as more important than the good of an individual.

There are much more rules and system applying to it but I will go with the explanation above.

I just want to mention that you have no idea what socialism is.

>>
>>52102261
I take it you havent read the manifesto then because it specifically talks about factors like that being transitional ones, and most importantly ones that arent set in stone.

Hence right after that list you see

>When, in the course of development, class distinctions have disappeared, and all production has been concentrated in the hands of a vast association of the whole nation, the public power will lose its political character. Political power, properly so called, is merely the organized power of one class for oppressing another. If the proletariat during its contest with the bourgeoisie is compelled, by the force of circumstances, to organize itself as a class; if, by means of a revolution, it makes itself the ruling class, and, as such, sweeps away by force the old conditions of production, then it will, along with these conditions, have swept away the conditions for the existence of class antagonisms and of classes generally, and will thereby have abolished its own supremacy as a class.

>In place of the old bourgeois society, with its classes and class antagonisms, we shall have an association in which the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all.

>>
>>52103023
Right. The French Revolution had as its basic underpinnings the notion that "The nobility and the Church are oppressing the masses. Get rid of them and...equality." However, equality of outcome was always a basic tenant of European society due to the feudal class structure, so the son of a king was a king and the son of a peasant was a peasant. Karl Marx really had no original ideas, he was just repeating the same ideologies of the FR (eliminate the exploiter class to create a fairer world).

Americans never had a caste system like this and have always had the notion that you can only climb to the top of the mountain and stay there by your hard effort.

One of the few things keeping this country on its feat are the factories and industries that were built during egypt's short communist era under Nasser.

They provide self sufficiency for products that we would have rather imported and even created a possibility for export.

When the capitalist mindset first hit us, the industry has simply halted ever since. Why go through the hassle of building a factory when you can simply import what you need for china and invest your money in stock market and real estate instead? It is much more profitable, easier and you raep the benefits right away.

The entire country have been doing nothing for years but building tourist resorts, hotels and fancy real estate.

Then all it takes is a soda can filled with explosives planted on a tourist plane to ruin an entire country's economy and put thousands out of work and capitalists working in tourism demanding the government supporting by promoting tourism and lie about the security situation in egypt.

And, of course, our socialised programs are demolished from the inside out now that we have reams of freeloaders coming in who never pay into the system. Yet this does not bother socialists, and they advocate more unrestricted immigration.

Of course not, but its a matter of degrees. Or in other words, how much does your background impact your chances.

In Canada, for example, pretty much anyone can go to University if they are smart enough. While its not free, there are shitton of grants and interest free loans to help you out. In addition you dont need 12 years of private schooling to make you competitive for University in the first place. Private schools do exist, but they dont make a huge difference.

Sure, given the same work ethic, a CEO's son will be more successful than a plumber's son. But in 2-3 generations it'll basically even out.

They got caught in that weird twilight era of propaganda where it's really noticeable from the outside yet very effective if you just keep at it. Propaganda before was hilariously obvious, propaganda now is really hard to spot as such

Norway has the best living conditions on the planet. They stored their oil revenues into a fund, knowing that it wouldn't last forever. They can use that to invest in technology that can be used for future business.

I just find it hilarious how this type of propaganda probably originated from public organisations in the first place.

Half your college students are foreigners. To be fair, half our students study identity politics and gender studies.

Would you rather live in Argentina under Macri or Cuba under Castro?

Would you rather be a working class man in America or Venezuela?

Our local socialists are shit tier maoists who can't plot a working agenda. All they do is to recruit edgy kids at the uni or threaten farmers to join them. They also loot warehouses and villages like niggers.
>>
I am one.
But our parties are shit tier. We have peaceful sovietwankers (Especially stalinwank and brezhnevwank) from CPRF, numerous irrelevant euroleftists, trotskyst sects, "Left Front" (another useless organization that doesn't worth shit).
