We from the /i/ 4chan Cüp Team Management are here to fill you in on the latest activities:
The Winter Cüp is closing in and since we advanced from the group stages in autumn we have qualified ourselves to participate in this elite event.
This time around we want YOU guys to take part in a roster poll for the team. It shouldnt take more than minutes of your time and it would help us out majorly

So the draw for the group stages is over and we find ourselves in Group A alongside with the current ruling champion /mu/, last summer's dark horse, /f/ and /vp/ ... again ...

At least Dungeon Waterway got a goal. Good job anyway guys.
Its not like I didn't see it coming. Eversince I started running tests on /u/ they seemed to have an impossible to overpower defense. Later than I found out that their offense was just as dangerous and I had millions of shots on my net.
So for the last 5 days I've been trying to find a way around this and in the end didn't succeed. All I could set up was a preset to have them shoot less goals and, with lots of luck, have us outscore them.
With that in mind I was allready pretty bummed out before we even entered the pitch. Long Story short, I wanted to carry you guys all the way but failed ultimately. I am sorry.
Cheerish the goal, I know I do, its our first ever in the knockouts and if you want me back for Summer I will make sure to give it my all one more time.

this is a football/soccer tournament between 4chan boards simulated on Pro Evolution Soccer. Every board gets to elect board culture references for players squad.
The matches are played AI vs AI but live managed by people from the boards who are also supervising the player polls and generally make sure that the board they manage is represented properly.

seeing as Shi Painter is gone probably for good this time I came to the conclusion that something must be done to the team aswell. The entire design, everything the squad represents is built around shi.
Now I would've changed all that myself to something more fresh and unique but I feel it would be unfair to anyone who wants to help shape the team.
Here is how its gonna be done,

I'm not fully familiar with /i/ (I like visiting because of certain threads), but I reckon we should let the users suggest color combinations, with explanations such as what the colors are based off (such as another program). This can be applied to team colors.
I think the logo should maintain the same style, with the replaced colors. Perhaps "/i/" should replace chibi Totoro (is that what it even is?), and the "F C" should be centered under it to fill up the space. Or just replace chibi Totoro with a paintbrush or the Java loading screen.

Tegaki (or whatever it's called) is a poor replacement for Shii-Painter. I can't use a hotkey for redo and undo nor is there any support for pressure sensitivity. Not to mention, there is a horrible lag anytime you move the tool too fast. Right now, nobody uses the app to draw and /i/ has been reduced to dumping grounds for NSFW pics and serial request-beggars.
Hmm, how about we change the color to grey and use a rectangle as a mascot?
okay, here's my attempt in PS (elements)
Just something really quick and mostly thrown together, let me elaborate:
According to the strawpoll in the program thread people use Photoshop, SAI, Clip Studio Paint the and mspaint most.
I took elements from all these:
- color circle and the Lemon logo from SAI
- toolbar from Clip Studio Paint
- toolbar from mspaint
- and a default banner from PS (yeah I dont know either)
it has the obligatory futbol but cut in half by another banner that defines what this board should be about. And yes that is an actual font, called "mousewritten"
I went with a grey in the end because why not but Im willing to adjust it any time depending on what you guys want. The secondary color would be the limegreen from the SAI logo.
I take criticism of any kind (you're welcome, /ic/)

Since, once again, we had a huge amount of ties we decided to use the following:
- players who have performed for the team in the past are to be prefered in case of a tie
- players who have served as a medal in the past are to be prefered in case of a tie
- players elected for a medal position or captain position have to be above the cut line (obv.)
- players suggested in the poll will reappear automatically in the next poll

We had an overall of 9 replies this time and our roster has once again been shaken up drastically. For Instance, since Shi Painter was x'd off due to not existing anymore (rest easy) we had the HARDEST struggle to elect someone else, same goes for medals. Never before were we so goddamn unsure what to make with this roster but we did it and I like NSFW drop thread as our new captain, since its the most constant and most populated thread on here.
we still have to find a proper team owner since Shi-chan alongside with Shi Painter is no longer relevant.
