Its translated up to the 1.16 version so pretty much all of the story is translated... there are some spots that are still in Japanese (new content mostly, but some scenes were edited between versions and have some untranslated stuff) but its totally playable with the current TL patch but if you want to wait for the full translation fair enough. While this is simple in KiriKiri (which Nekopara uses) by simply adding a patch file which the game automatically recognizes, Tyrano is a tad trickier. Not that it can't be done, it can...but hey, you've seen how little stamina he has as far as learning new game-creation stuff goes. I doubt he'd be willing to shift away from his current distribution method.

Be careful when you buy a prepaid. If it says FOR USE IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY on it then it'll only accept dollars as currency. Any attempt to use another currency will simply read as dollars. So for instance the prepaid Visa I tested with Getchu on a 400 yen purchase instead saw a 400 -dollar- purchase and rejected it. It doesn't work.

1. Open your copy of headpat simulator v1.22 and go into "data"

Depends on which version you want to target, but either way, just run the game with the script installed and it'll update the script with the lines from that version. Right now it just prunes any lines not in that version (so running it under 1.22 might break some lines for people still on 1.16, and the same would apply for 1.30b2 vs. 1.22). If you'd like, I can change it to merge in the old lines instead.

Any time Ray fixes a typo in the original Japanese, it "creates" a new line and "deletes" the line with the typo (my script isn't quite smart enough the detect this sort of change). The newest version I just posted tries to merge in those deleted lines nearby the lines that replaced them.

Hmm, it should definitely not be doing that. If it's working for you under 1.22 but not the beta, then the only thing I can think of would be that you've got a configuration error of some sort. Did you launch the game from TyranoBuilder? In that case, first.ks would be overwritten, so you should load the script in title_screen.ks instead.
Though I did run it under 1.30b2 on my end, so the version you're editing should still have all the new lines.

I ran the included en-US.json through 1.16 and the demo version for good measure. To merge in what you've translated for 1.22, add a comma to the end of the last line in the text section of this file, paste the contents of your old en-US.json (sans the curly brackets) after that line, and run the game. I improved the line merging algorithm, in order to keep old and new lines together instead of interleaving them (this should produce nicer diffs). Also updated en-US.json to show the result of the new line merging behavior.
Next up will be some (sorely needed) refactoring and commenting of the code. I will probably move some options into a separate configuration file. After that, and assuming no new features will be needed in tf_translate, I'll be working on the JavaScript to fix the UI layout again. I've already made quite a bit of progress on that, just need to decide the best way to handle a few troublesome cases. And of course I'll have to make some new buttons for the latest version.
