He's slowly figuring out why things are the way they are on the new TS, but it's taking so much time that he's getting tired. Creating a new game using the new version would be simple, so he's thinking of keeping TF on the old TS version and doing a new HitomeBore with the new TS instead.
He goes on to say that he lacks basic game dev knowledge and that he's mostly feeling his way through, and that sure if he puts his mind to it he can figure stuff out, but the amount of time and effort involved in learning new stuff is a major pain.
Moving along, he points out that he's said this many many many many many many many times but TF will never have a route other than Sylvie, there will never be a sequel game, and he has no plan whatsoever to do any sort of DLC. Once he's updated the game to what he feels is its 'final' form, TF is done. Period.
He moves back to talking about the latest TyranoScript and how trying to get it to work on TF again is such a pain, then asks if anyone knows how to get it working more simply. He wants to spend as little mental effort as possible. It's not that he doesn't want to update TF, it's that doing so is such a freakin' pain in the ass that he'd rather do a sequel to HitomeBore using the new tools to start from scratch.
He mentions that he wants to put in an event in TF where you give a wedding ring to Sylvie, but that such an event would truly be the 'ending' and that it'd mark the final update. He doesn't know -when- he's going to implement that event, just that it'd be the final one.
In any event, he is indeed going to spend 6-12 months working on a sequel to HitomeBore, so the next game update for TF won't be until that's done.

The notes for 1.2b said that he's at least planning on two more H-scenes for the game if not more. We already have one of those two in the latest beta, so keep your chin up, anon!

Even if those H scenes would be almost done, after 6-12 months he'll probably just laugh and say fuck it. Why bother. People have already paid him... and working on the old engine is a pain in the ass.

If he really said all those things, he's probably just bored. I put out a quick and dirty fix for the layers on ulmf yesterday, and I find it hard to believe that with all the Japanese people who bought his game, there isn't a single one who knows TyranoScript/JavaScript and has offered to help him.
He's definitely got himself into a mess though. I've been thinking about making a "paper doll" plugin for TyranoScript that could manage all the compositing on Sylvie with some JavaScript and a few macros. I already sort of got a proof of concept working with some nice fading transitions using the built-in graphics layers, but it's still pretty rough around the edges. And a solution like this would mean making a ton of changes to the ks files anyway, which it sounds like he doesn't want to do.
