Just received my Projector and MiraScreen.
REVIEW TIME
The Projector is a cheap, no-name LED unit, it has a native resolution of just 320x240 and downscales a multitude of inputs to suit it.
capable of accepting HDMI, USB, MicroSD and AV, you can connect this thing to anything from an NES to your desktop computer (Though you probably wouldn't want to).
The brightness is lacking but I think there's a reason for that, the extremely awful power supply that came with it is for an "EU plug" fitting which of course being that I am from a civilized country I can not use, so I am using the 5v USB power input instead, normally used to charge the internal battery. The manual briefly mentions that the projector will be brighter on the 12v input.
Later today i'll splice the end of the power supply cable onto a native 12v 2a supply and see how much brighter it is but I can't be arsed to do that just now.
The UI is straightforward and in english, pick an input or browse files.
Sound quality is awful but it makes up for it with surprising volume.
It's listed as a "YG-300" on the website but the packaging, manual or device itself never states such a thing.
My intended use for this is retro videogames and old movies so the low resolution isn't an issue at all. You wouldn't want to use it for new content though.

Next, the Mirascreen.
Not much to say about this really. It works, which is always a bonus. The setup was straightforward, it just plugs into the HDMI input of whatever display you want to use, takes power from a USB cable and allows you to broadcast wirelessly from your mobile devices or computers.
Supposedly supports up to 1920x1200 at 60fps but I didn't test that.
Works great with my Chuwi Hi8 though.

Got my chink 3rd party wireless dongle and chatpad for xbox360 from fasttech today. Took a long while to arrive, but both work fine.
Drivers that come with dongle don't work and are likely riddled with malware, so might as well use the disc as a coaster. Get the official drivers from MS's site, install, then manually select the right driver through device manager. Worked just as any xinput controller after that.
Keyboard works out of the box on a 360, make sure it's inserted fully until it clicks. Doesn't work right away on Windows, needs a driver you can get from github.
Both are also supposed to work on Linux and OSX
I think im gonna buy most of my /out/ gear from the Chinese. Even if the quality may be shit, id still be saving a lot money. But this doesn't seem to be the case, since the chinese ripoff of this match case has positive reviews.
Any reason not to wait for this? I want a 6inch screen.

I had a cup of tea and got of my arse to solder together a proper 12v 2A power supply for it and i'm pretty glad I did, the brightness has been increased over using the 5v usb input.
It's not a HUGE increase but with a little low power projector like this every lumen counts.
Anyone thinking of picking one up, make sure you feed it the right power.

Even with the correct power I wouldn't suggest this for presentations, it's just too dim. To enjoy this you need to turn down the lights and pretend you're in a theatre, you couldn't do a presentation on it in a lit room.
It does have image/slideshow features though so I suppose the only thing stopping you is the brightness.
