Pair is probably your problem. The higher end computer speakers quickly get into 5.1 surround sound. Your filters are the most expensive 2.1 speaker set with a brand name you recognize. Ask to hear them at the store! Or, actually, go to an Apple store. They're carry more expensive products (I know, not all will be good or worth the price). Some Apple speakers would work really well.

It's pretty fucking cheap considering it's quality.
Airflow wise you can tighten it up to feel like you're dragging a cig or a bit more (which is a good thing, those 3 dollar things don't have any airflow), it's small, leakproof and can actually give out decent flavour due to the coils. Top fill is also a great feature. Plus it uses micro usb to charge, I hated charging ego batteries.
If you want cheap fluid, check out liqua on fasttech (get 30ml if you're getting the vape I linked), don't buy hangsen or dekang or whatever no name chink shit you find, they're shit and there are no guarantees to what motor oil you're inhaling. Citrus mix or any mint/menthol by liqua that isn't double mints are okay, maybe try those.

I have the DKnight Magicbox II ($40), it's pretty good. The Magicbox II only makes a "boo beep" kind of noise when you turn it on, not the chink slut yelling "BLEU TOOTH MODE" like lots of these have.
The "Magic Bee" is ~$15 and sounds pretty acceptable if you're looking for a JBL clip type of very small speaker and are okay with mono driver + passive radiator.
I have since upgraded to a refurbished UE Boom ($90), as I like the sound of my Magicbox II, but it is not loud enough to use at work (~80 db factory).
Big Speaker:
Sylvania SP-328 is fucking god-tier for $30 + $10 shipped in the US, but idk if you can find it if you're not a burger. Gets loud as fuck, battery lasts a long time, has hardware bass, volume, and treble controls on it. Only downsides are that it takes 5v (power banks, USB chargers etc), but you need a usb -> small DC cord, and it takes up basically ALL the space in my backpack. The style is that late 90's, 45-seconds-of-anti-skip-protection kind of swag, could be a plus or minus to you.
