Take some minimalistic CSS from someone and just change the colors and maybe the paddings. Or just make a new CSS and change the colors first. Then pick a font (better yet, one for monospace and one for normal text) and try to apply it to basically everything on your desktop. Just make sure everything is as persistant as possible. After you did that, you look at your desktop and try to change the things, that look out of place.

Most stylesheets aren't built with dE's reply maps in mind, they have transparency, 100% post width or overall look wacky. Disabling them won't do, but using such stylesheets won't do either. Might as well not use any stylesheets, for now at least.
This could be dE's problem, though. Might wanna do something about this panel and reply form title.

dE looks horrible anyway.
Things to avoid:
Gradients
Borders that are rounded too much
Elements that don't have the same look and feel (in dE's case the font and icons don't really match)

I just realised that dE doesn't really use a gradient, but that "light on top, dark on bottom" kinda gives this "glass feeling" which is bad for the same reason.

Here are my suggestions:
Get good wallpapers, you might think your current ones are good. They're not. They're fucking bad. So fucking bad I feel like burning someone's house down when I see them.
Change the colors to good colors. If you don't know what good colors are, then look up through the thread, I think someone linked a thing.
Other less important suggestions:
Stop using a monospace font for your titlebars.
Show something other than your screenfetch, for example: web browser or music player.

Hey Yuuji I finally finished Dimension W last night. What did you think? In my opinion, it started off really strong but made the classic mistake of developing an "epic" (in the original meaning of the word) plot, which ended up distracting from the actually good (great) part of the show which was the characters and their development. In the end I rate it a 6/10, since it was above average but unexceptional.

From what I remember when ricing gnome, no, it can't (if you mean luike how OSX does it, where actually a part of the window gets clipped off), the only wm that does this that I know of is fvwm with the rounder corner patch, however these rounder corners are not smoothed.
