Most sellers put the value of the goods way lower on the customs form, so as long as you don't get chosen for a random inspection you should be good. It also depend on the size, small packages are more likely to contain $5 worth of electronic components than a half a cubic meter one that weighs 50kg.

Got the Mi4c, nice phone, cyanogenmod 13 is available and updated very often, battery life is acceptable but kind of random as is reception indoors, sometimes I get 4/5 bars and the battery holds for nearly 3 days, sometimes I just can't get a signal and half the battery is gone after a night. I just put the phone near the windows and get good reception and battery. There are also some scripts and tweaks to power down the cores faster and lower the GHz to get more sot, but that wasn't necessary for me yet
Lack of sccard slot may be a no go for some, but atm I don't have any problems (you have around 25,5GB usable space)
