https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennials
>Millennials (also known as the Millennial Generation[1] or Generation Y) are the demographic cohort following Generation X. There are no precise dates for when the generation starts and ends; most researchers and commentators use birth years ranging from the early 1980s to around 2000.

If you were born in 84 or 85 then you're right in the overlap period. People tend to end Gen X at 84 or 85, which is exactly where some people start Millennials.

As someone born in 84 it does feel like I'm in a transition period. I have things in common with people I know who were born in the late 60's, yet I also have things in common with people I know who were born in the early to mid 90's.

Not that it really matters. Researchers define these groups so massive groups of people are easier to study academically.

>>
>>53713057

82 here, I'm usually considered the cutoff for millennials. Personally just off the cuff I'd say at least for guys the binding experience was coming of age while computers and the Internet were a novelty and exciting and after the Soviet Union collapsed. Thus all we knew during childhood was technological advancement and change and no major world events to speak of. Until the big one.

I still remember how big a deal it was when we got our first real computer in 93,previouslly we just had game consoles and my dad briefly had a mac

You have to get rid of the CO2 to avoid the body's suffocation reflex. The cheapest way is a simple hood. It can be open in the bottom because the Helium naturally pushes the CO2 out..

If you want to use more available gases like Nitrogen, you need diving gear.

How about Active Worlds?

I'm 27, not sure if that makes me a millennial or not. Don't really care. My childhood was in the 90s.

We got our first PC around 1994, it was a Gateway that came in the cow box.

My elementary school had a computer lab with about 15 Apple IIGS machines.

I think our first ISP was EarthLink. When my parents cancelled the EarthLink subscription to save money I used free 56K ISPs. I think Juno was the main one.

I remember making horrible Dragonball Z and Pokemon websites on geocities and angelfire.

I remember buying a copy of Red Hat, in the box, from EB when it was called Electronics Boutique. I also remember buying a used copy of Visual C++ on eBay.

We had an Atari and a NES, and I remember getting the first gameboy for christmas.

Is skifree the game that seperates the plebs from thbe pros? I played the shit out of it (and chip's challenge) on a windows 3.1 machine way back when.

Hell printing an A4 document would take several minutes at the time - enough to cause windows to enter power saving mode. Christ I also played Duke Nukem and remember sucking at it hard (yes, long before 3d was a thing).

In hindsight the pc was a piece of shit ex office machine bought on the sly but to me it was truly the greatest thing ever. Fuck me we even used it as an anwsering machine at one point. my current pc is orders of magnitude more powerful and far easier to use but nostalgia is one hell of a drug.
