It is a 1920x1080 sony bravia tv of some kind that I got from my old mans flat when he passed away. 60hz refresh rate though, so it does the job. It's not really something that has to consume you if you don't want it to, but you have to be open-minded about it if you want to have fun with it, which is why I still browse the interesting shithole of /mlp/. I'll admit that I acted autistic as fuck when I first found the show, mostly because it was the first thing I ended up latching onto in my mild depression after a breakup with a girlfriend. It mellowed out, thankfully, but I still feel some retard smile creep on my face whenever I watch the show. With all the shittiness in the world, it's refreshing to laugh at something so light-hearted.
It's interesting to think though where I'd be if I didn't watch it. Probably wouldn't be on 4chan, for one, wouldn't have an interest in computers, wouldn't have decided to become an engineer, wouldn't have been awoken to all the bullshit that goes on in the world today and become more conservative, wouldn't have started listening to all the music that I've found nowadays.
