Right click > screen resolution and adjust the position of your monitors. Mine renders a black bar across the bottom because my second monitor is a lot smaller res.

the dock, or the desktop? the dock just has icons that I pulled from an OS X 10.0 disk. the desktop is running Xquartz in rootless mode with windowmaker + dockapps from pkgsrc ports tree and icons I pulled from a NeXTSTEP machine. xmms is using a custom coreaudio driver I maintain. I fixed the windowmaker crashing problem on OS X too.

Used antergos once way back. After installing it which wouldn't even go properly off an USB i couldn't boot because UEFI wasn't supported.
Used Legacy / BIOS mode to get in, fucking WM didn't work properly and had to login and use startx manually. Networking didn't work either but i managed to get some kernel modules working to tether my phone's internet.
After going through more problems than a normal arch install it barely worked with issues and bugs all over the place.

If you know what you're doing it takes less than 30 minutes to install arch, assuming you have 1mbps or higher download speed. If you don't, then there's not point to using a joke distro like Manjaro when you could be on Mint or Debian, a billion times more stable, works BETTER ootb and doesn't have all the instablity arch based distros do, and is user friendly.

Make your choice based off of compile times and convenience vs choice and freedoms (tm)
