The other reason is because 4chan X is dealing with an error that stems from 4chan itself which is the duplicate file error which is why you can't post it anyways. If say that pic doesn't already exist in /g/, try uploading that pic by downloading it onto your computer. then wait for the duplicate image to 404. If you are complaining about the error message, that is 4chan X's fault for if you just used vanilla 4chan, you won't have that error but instead the duplicate file error. You're so fucking stupid, BENBEN

Why would anyone use linux?
Everything is unstable, nothing is professionally verified or audited. Did you know "stable linux" is normal linux that hasn't had bug reports recently? What if nobody is using the linux program enough to find bugs? What if nobody cares to report bugs? What if the next version fixes a hidden security bug but the developer doesn't know, or tell the linux distributor that it was a security bug fix? It never gets backported to "stable linux". It was just deleting an accidental second goto, that's all!
10 years after someone asked for a windows-like AKA useful file open and save as window, someone made one, and it wasn't added to the source code. You have to compile it yourself.
There are no professional grade debuggers like the one MSVS uses, only hobby projects that are only useful to C programmers that write very simple AKA unmarketable and unremarkable software. And the text editors that might one day come close to MSVS are more like programming projects than things used to program projects...
It has a communistic software license that prevents good software like dtrace and zfs from being used, so can you really call it "UNIX"?
The entire UI is based on an ancient RDP-like protocol that isn't even used, because all the software uses special extensions that interact directly with the hardware inefficiently through the UI server, and the new UI they say they'll make the standard can't do real RDP things like microsoft remoteapp, only VNC. But it does spin cubes.
But still it tries to be a bad copy of windows with dbus instead of COM and RPC. They should have stuck to BSD sockets and 9p! And it has not one, but several registries!

Are you saying that this linux can run on a computer without windows underneath it, at all? As in, without a boot disk, without any drivers, and without any services?
That sounds preposterous to me.
If it were true (and I doubt it), then companies would be selling computers without a windows. This clearly is not happening, so there must be some error in your calculations. I hope you realise that windows is more than just Office ? Its a whole system that runs the computer from start to finish, and that is a very difficult thing to acheive. A lot of people dont realise this.
Microsoft just spent $9 billion and many years to create Vista, so it does not sound reasonable that some new alternative could just snap into existence overnight like that. It would take billions of dollars and a massive effort to achieve. IBM tried, and spent a huge amount of money developing OS/2 but could never keep up with Windows. Apple tried to create their own system for years, but finally gave up recently and moved to Intel and Microsoft.
Its just not possible that a freeware like the Linux could be extended to the point where it runs the entire computer fron start to finish, without using some of the more critical parts of windows. Not possible.

Virtual desktops are only there so you can distract yourself and go shitpost.
Nobody ever does work with virtual desktops that they could not to better just by minimizing the window. Only users of bad linux software (tiling windows) need them because they can not minimize windows, or need too many windows because they only use terminals that run one very old program at a time instead of modern and functional productive GUI suites.
