How to effay patches

Which jackets are better to patch up: the classic light blue denim, beige denim, dark green parka or dark green annorak?

A denim jacket is always an option, but it's easy to fall int othe "metal battle jacket" trap.

A dark green of black parka works, see Raf Simons 05 for inspo

An olive or black bomber works as well, mind you it's easy to overdo it and become lunarcore.

A navy or moss green mountain parka is pretty cool with some patches on the sleeves.

But yeah,

Gonna DIY this patch

I'll probably distress a denim jacket, then buy a blank canvas iron- patch and paint the design onto it, then sew it on with black thread.

I don't know where you live but posing as an MC-member might get you in trouble. Depends on nearby MC's and how autistic they are about their "territory" and colors.

are there any websites that do custom embroidery?

At least make sure there isn't club called Satan's Slave ANYWHERE near you
Also make sure to never wear it anywhere where some other club member might see you unless you want to risk getting beaten or called out on your faggotry.

When it comes to fashion, posing is literally the single gayest thing ever, yet everybody does it.

Why do you want to pose as biker if you aren't one? Why don't you accomplish something in your life and be someone, instead of pretending?

You can either to do this with shitty old shits that you cut up, or if you want something more substantial, you can go to a place like Jo Ann Fabrics and buy canvas remnants for a few bucks, just make sure you get something light in color.
While you're there, pick up some of those printer transfer sheets that work with your inkjet printer.

Open those files, flip em, print em out, iron them on, cut out your new canvas patch, and sew away.
Anything simpler, and you can just stencil.
>>
>>9720185
I wouldn't, I put a few on an old shitty plain black hoodie I had and it makes them rigid, feels less comfy.

I suggest oddly shaped ones instead of the usual rectangle. Otherwise you can o pretty much whatever as long as it doesn't clash with the yellow/red.

So I'm basically turning this red as fuck jacket/parka thing I got for $6 into a hybrid of kaneda's bike and jacket from akira. I wanna stick patches that match the stickers on his bike all over the jacket but don't really know where to start/pit them all. I've got a few coming in the mail but don't have anything close to all of them. Is there an easy way to get good looking patches either custom made or diy? I don't want to spend too much on this because I can't really see myself wearing this traffic cone on a regular basis.

So here's my two cents, check pic related for the numbers attached to the patches.

1) I suggest putting it on the chest, above a chest pocket if the jacket has any.
>http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shippping-Garment-accessories-Handmade-bullion-wire-embroidery-badge-patch-United-States-Air-Force-Star-Roundel/1378146415.html

2) This looks like it'll be good on one of the shoulders. An "old ironsides" patch looks similar enough to work.

3) Depending on the size, I'd put in on the back of the jacket. It'll look best high up, just below the collar.

4) Same as 2, put it on the shoulder. No idea where to find such a thing though, it's so bland.

Cool man, thanks for the input. I think i might try to make the roundel and citizen/immigrant ones myself if I get my hands on a sewing machine anytime soon. And the green circle has been interpreted as a BMW logo by a few people, so that and the canon logo are in the mail.

you should wear your pants in first. Band patches come after patching holes and reinforcing.

These two niggas are right. I've worked in a motorcycle shop/my family has been involve with MCs for a loooooong time and you will get fucking beat to neat death if you meet the wrong person. Doesn't even matter if the club is near you, this is an insanely bad idea. They might just assume you're from a small upstart club and beat your skull to a pulp and nail your vest to their clubhouse wall as a trophy.
>>
>>9716931
You're going to end up strapped to a table with rats under a hot metal bucket eating an escape route through your belly if you wear that in public

I know losing weight is /fa/, but it would be better done the /fit/ way. Don't pose, mutilated corpses aren't in style this summer.
>>
>>9719019
You won't be okay if a biker from any mc sees you wearing that in their territory. OP, if you have a death wish with a penchant for torture, then go right the Fuck ahead. Walk around the Puyallup Fairground with that on if you really think it'll be fine.

I get that no-one is trying to impersonate or looking to piss anyone off, but wearing patches for units you never served in is looked down on as trashy.

A man should earn his bonafides, not pose with things he hasn't earned. It's like riding around with a surfboard on your car despite having never been to the beach. It looks cool until someone makes a reference you don't understand, then you look like a real piece of shit, and suddenly everyone wants to kick your ass. Maybe you don't mean to lie, but whether you realize it or not, you're implying something that isn't true.

Just like the dumbfuck with the biker patch, wearing these could have unintended consequences. Posers always end up embarrassed publicly or in an emergency room before they realize how bad they fucked up.

"Satan's slave" boy is going to learn that lesson in a very bad way if he goes through with his jacket. But for your sakes, earn your bonafides. Or at the very least, use morale patches. The PVC ones look awesome.

I'm new here and I read a bit of the tuxbell but maybe I missed something
Is lunarcore a meme of somesort or a sort of "bad" style that you are supposed to avoid?
In the tuxbell it just described the styles, it didn't say whether they were legit or memes or what and I'm confused because this board seems to kinda hate lunarcore
>>
>>9725611
lunarcore is a meme thought up by a sad delusional 30 y/o man, but some people are happy to dress like astronauts so whatever. to be honest categorising styles like that is going to help you in no way, shape or form. just find stuff you like and reflect on why you like it. finding and refining your style is a long process that isn't anywhere near as straightforward as reading wikis and looking at infogs.
