Tower is too dark on that dark red background, would be shit/10 visibility at a distance.

Consider lightening the tower up. It's the main piece of your crest.

Also, don't let such a pretty gold border bleed into the olive branch, it dilutes the impression from the gold.

If you want to go by traditional heraldic rules, you shouldn't have non-metalic on non-metallic.
Consider making the background white (silver) or yellow (gold).
You can keep the red by adding a helmet and making the cloth red. Also gives you a place to put the boar's head and the laurel.
