I like two kinds of fatal. Actual fatal, which means when you're digested then that's it there's no way back, you're part of the predator now. I like this for crueler people or ones who just don't care or aren't aware they ate someone..
And the other is in a similar vain where-in you're part of the predator but in a semi-conscious way and can kind of communicate. You're not truly gone and you can be brought back, so it's like the best of both worlds. This one more fits into a willing, romantic, obsessed sense so it's like "Eat me so I can be part of you!" and shit like that.
Though it can also be played off with more yandere characters. I had an RP with my character getting increasingly jealous of her onee-chan and resorting to the logical decision that the best way they can be together is to eat her and keep her as part of her for an undetermined amount of time. I wrote up several parts of an interactive story yesterday. It's kind of rough, I think I'm going to scrap it and try out a smaller project. I want to get better at writing so the snuff I want to be writing seems less hamfisted and autistic.
Thought it would be a waste to completely throw it away though, so here's a pastebin of the finished chapters for anyone who might be interested. Contains various references to various odors, detailed fatal digestion, gas, scat etc.

Yeah no shit he used to have a full time job, I can even tell you what it was because some guy got really butthurt about him and leaked a bunch of personal information online (spoilers it was drawing), but artists like to do this thing called practice, which is hard to do any large amount of with a full time job (which if you work for a -really- good company they actually do try and help you with), shifting to patreon as a full time thing lets him do a lot more practice and frees up time which lets him balance his smut and not smut projects, and there isn't a chance in hell that if smut wasn't paying the bills that he'd choose smut over none smut projects.
