I'm actually going to adapt some of his/her's ideas into my fantasies. I prefer low technology levels because I get off better when imagining a gritty, dirty life (sci-fi feels too "clean" somehow).
I like the idea of a post-apocalyptic world where traditional beasts of burden can't economically be used as such (rare/extinct, perhaps). Superhuman ponygirls also works for me - I'd be bred from birth to be a ponygirl that way. Maybe I'd even be administered a drug that clouds my mental functions - I am still very aware of what is happening to me, but not able to think straight enough to figure out an escape plan.
This would also doubly justify the restraint system I live under, in which my hands are bound behind me at all times and I'm strictly managed under a restraining harness. Even during cleaning, the stablehands are trained to move each wrist to its overhead binding without allowing me a moment's freedom to control my arms myself.
Also, maybe this super-race's abilities would scale positively with sexual frustration, matching up with what I said earlier about us ponygirls being denied actual sexual release by tradition.
I've said all of that and haven't even got to my duties. When I said post-apolcalyptic, I meant maybe 100 years in the future from whatever apocalyptic event, so there's time for society to reform and cities to be established. As such, I'd probably be owned by a transport service in a packed city. I'd be driven by a rickshaw owner (not a particular one; the driver picks a pony out of the stables at the beginning of his shift).
I'd be well trained and good at my job, as fast runner and agile enough to safely navigate the tight, crowded streets at a fast pace, despite my heavy burden.
On the streets I might see other ponygirls. Most of them work the same job as me, but there would also be some high-class ponygirls dressed in fine, gem-studded leather, their backs held ramrod straight by a posture harness - a far more dignified looking position, but one that is more difficult to work in. I'd pass them, unable to ever say a word but relieved that I don't have their lot. They'd actually probably feel the same about me, relieved that they don't have to bear the indignity of racing around the city, back bent into my labors.
