ITT: webcomics only you knew about
Sorry, Henbe.
>>81386102
Rude. He ask you not to distribute.
>>81385890
This shit right here. It was a sad day when the series ended.
Clearly it's well known considering the support and love they get from Patreon and the fact that the "weird" page spread across the internet quite a lot but I've made a few threads on /co/ and they get no replies, or negative replies. Every person I try and show Subnormality to IRL never finds the time to read it because of how dense the pages are.
I'm not sure a webcomic has made me bawl as consistently as this. Commentary on human nature really gets to me.
>>81385890
Isn't this Shmorky? How are they not known?
>>81385890
The raccoon was my waifu.
>>81385948
The one female fox was also my waifu.Somehow I did not grow up to be a furry.
>>81387769
CARS ARE A FAD!
>>81387769
Why'd you post it if you know it's well known? This is webcomics only you knew about. Everyone knows about this, it just gets a lot of flack because the artist can't pace to save his life.
Scalie schoolie
It's been dead for a few years, sadly
>>81387974
Everyone knows this anon
Just no one cares about it

I still have her cookbook and one of her calendars
Feels good to read a thriller webcomic that updates every week.
>>81389237
Endtown takes the cake for that one
Except updates 3 times a week
>>81389412
Not sure what I'm looking at.
>>81389654Those suits are for protection against an airborne virus, cat is immune because she already got infected under different circumstances.
>>81389753
Oh now I see, slicing through the suits for everyone to enjoy.
I have good memories of Acid Reflux.
A girl is given a universe by her parents (they are a race of gods) for her birthday or something.
She of course gets trapped in her world and goes on a quest.
Any updates on Shmorky and his batshit crazy girlfriend?

>>81389654
Chick mutated to a cat lady and current day nazi's are out to dissect her inside out and she managed to escape by cutting their suits open to transform them into lovecraftian monsters from hell because a virus is running rampant to kill one another to escape.
The main story is set in the post apocalypse after nuclear warfare leveled everything. new wave of nazis are out to kill mutated breeds of certain people.
Does /co/ remember?

According to Lowtax's daughter in his last video, he is now a sausage

I care. I care too much about that shit, but I still care.
>>81390011
Eeeerrrr????? What is this??????????
>>81390248
It's a comic about nothing
>>81390207
Uh, t-thanks.
>>81390308
A typical waifu SoL.
>>81390207
Wait, is THAT the fucking synopsis to the comic? I've seen the threads before but never game them any thought because I figured it was just furry bullshit...
>>81390308
In a world where only female weeb scalies exist, nothing still happens.
>>81390368
It's a fucking thrill ride of a comic.
Shit is depressing in a thriller manner and people who started reading always fell down to the curse of binging the series
>>81385890
A lot of people remember Purple Pussy, just not the loud young teens on the internet.
>>81390409
Let me tell ya.
Calli has way worse luck than miss lily.
The guy who makes Super Glitch showed up here for advice one time in like 2013. I bookmarked and still stop in sometimes because he was really chill when he was here.
>>81385890
>>81390827
What is this and where can I read it?
>>81390712
Calli may not have inflatable tits or puffy cheeks, but she doesn't have responsibility.
>>81390944
She hasn't appeared in the comic yet though.
Might as well not exist.
>>81390882
Bear Nutz, edgy care bears who live in a zoo and take care for each other as a family (really, the comic is very touching sometimes)
http://www.bearnutscomic.com/
Does anyone remember a comic where the person just shamelessly copied akira toriyama's artstyle and the design of namekians, but turned them into a more generic silly scifi race, and it was about a kid who had various adventures involving other aliens and shit
>>81390944Do her boobs inflate as well?
>>81391013
You know how long it took Lilac to show up in the comic proper? You gotta play the long game on this shit.
>>81391145
Speaking of when the hell is this bitch showing up?
>>81391241
or this one.
>tfw the only webcomics you know about are /v/ fanfic comics and gag-a-day furry nonsense
>>81391330
or this one.
>>81385890
I think I just won the thread. There is pretty much no evidence whatsoever of it left on the net.
>>81391453
If Shen went through all of his concept sketches, he'd be done introducing them all in 2020.
I'm still banking on the tadpole and whatever this thing is, though.
>>81391566

>>81391480
I would like to know this
Easiest bet would to find the artist through e621 and link through that
>>81391494
nope I won with this >>81390981
The comic finished a couple years back
Its a pretty cute series
>>81391896
Doesn't that artist do the color work for Kevin & Kell?
>>81391964
Yes she does, also she started a new comic aboot Tipper's son and the daughter of Kimberly from You say it first. It's called http://nicoleandderek.com/
It could toss out turn of the century furry webcomics till the cows come home so here's somethin' different.
>The Abominable stopped updating in 2014
How the fuck didn't I notice?
Think you're hot shit just cause you remembered SuperMegaTopia?
Try Gaming Guardians bitches.
>>81391696
I may be desperate enough to try that but it would take a lifetime. I was really hoping someone here would know what I was talking about but since they do not, I will now begin my descent into furry hell.
>>81385948
I posted the one with Penny dressing as Judy from Zootopia in one of the Zootopia threads, got 0 responses.
>>81386102
I don't know why, but this guy's porn makes me laugh.
>>81390079
One of these days I'll get caught up again.
I've got a few I haven't seen mentioned.
Chopping Block. Single panel gag-a-day about a serial killer named Butch who dresses like Jason Vorhees. Dark humor at it's best.
S.S.D.D. Almost Overly-British furry SoL that turned into Overly-British furry sci-fi. The artwork really hasn't improved that much beyond the scribbles it used to be, the plot feels ripped off from numerous sources, and the characters are as two-dimensional as it gets. I'm really sorry I read it for as long as I did, and highly recommend people to stay away.
Carry On. Was a SoL about some hyena who worked as a reporter with her family who took care of a mortuary. Has evolved into some kind of political drama/adventure thing. I really don't know why I still read this shit. Someone kill me.
Stolen Generation. If you want to know my opinion on this piece of shit, read the review I wrote for the Bad Webcomics wiki(if it's still up). I actually read through the entire fucking thing just to do a proper review, and I still regret it.
Latex Blue. No one has the right to complain about furry webcomics until they read this. You do not know how bad it can get until you read this. God damn.
>>81390079
Current arc is dragging on like a jew working hourly.
I've never seen anyone talk about this one
I still accept this entire series as canon
The art is shitty and there is a lack of porn of this character
I have a few strips of a comic that I can't remember the name of. I think the stories involved a group of friends in a world where RPG rules applied or something like that. Honestly I didn't really read it, I just remember the cool strips other than the main story. I'll try to find one in my old HD.
>>81385890
PP was great. I remember that back then Shmorky was making something like 3/4 of all webcomics in existence.
>>81393206
I don't even know who Penny is. There are tons of characters in this comic and most of them weren't there back when I read it. And others I probably forgot.
>>81394747
My friends and I used to love this
My webcomics are DEAD!
>>81390981
>>81392086
I remember liking "You Say it First" better. Probably because I liked the duo of Brisbane and Kimberly more than the couple of Tipper and Charles.
Actually, I just didn't like charles because most of the time he was some form of asshole.
I wish the NDU comic didn't stop
>>81394747
>>81395597
I distinctly remember that Braveheart was beloved in both this strip and Achewood
>>81395200

Anyone has any clues?
>>81387769
Probably because it's a mix between semi-philosophical weirdness and WORDSWORDSWORDS that puts OOTS to shame.
Wasn't there a music video for Purple Pussy?
>>81395829
I was really enjoying this one too. Probably the only decent thing RH has ever done.
>>81395306
Are you trying to fucking say Faux Pas still updates?
>>81385890

It was fun for how fucking mean it was.
>>81385890

>>81395159
How the fuck is this comic still so obscure? I've been reading it for years.
It manages a perfect 50/50 funny/interesting that's so perfectly consistent for 10+ years to a fault.
Cant remember the name but I remember reading what I think was some kind of smut webcomic. the only picture I can salvage is this which is the MC
>>81390079

My nigga. Favorite bears? Mine are Crack, Gay, and Lech.
Return To Sender... I still miss it
>>81403482
>Crack's back story
I have never felt so hard at a webcomic before.
>>81403224
I wrote a character once based on the appearance and humor of Patrick Alexander
I guess I assumed he was more famous. Became quite attached to the character, tho
>>81403514
Shit's depressing, man. It just gets worse with each bear's backstory, and Crack is having it the hardest right now.
This page here kept me for a whole week heavy-hearted and anxious for what could happen next. It ended worse for the bears than I expected.
I can never talk about this one with anyone because of the title.
Also Rosianna Rabbit. Someone made a thread about it in here a while back and I haven't seen it mentioned since.
>>81403606
Ditto. The last panel of the next one, where he blames himself really fucked me up for a while. It just came out of nowhere.
Glad he seems to be coming to terms with it now, though.
Boxdog.
Man is it depressing.
I know it's something that began somewhere in the 70s or something (in newspapers?) but it's been updated for the internets and that it still exists.
>>81403658
alas, this was proven fake.
>>81403662
Yeah. I expected his siblings to drown or something less painful than what they got. I mean, I still thought it was gonna be heart-wrenching, but it was taken to a whole new level than what I expected.
Just seeing how carefree and joyful he was compared to his future self is sorrowful to see. It just hits very hard how much he changed. But yeah, I am glad he is(or I hope) coming to terms with it and look forward to him to realize none of it was really his fault. The same goes to Nerd.
Also, Crack has beautiful eyes.
>>81385890
Everyone know Schmorky. Purple Pussy was fucking hilarious actually.
>>81403702
>>81385890
So it's still pretty much dead? It's been so long.
>>81385890
I also knew about it and I think I have seen it mentioned 2 or 3 times on 4chan. Probably on /co/.
They have a nice flash video.
http://youtu.be/QfQGXkJlv_0
>>81403765
Final comic was posted years ago. Last few gave it something of an ending, with the characters all going their separate ways.
He's doing cute, silly art now, and getting called a problematic pedophile by the insane Tumblrtards. Business as usual.
>>81387974
everyone on /v/ knows about this you silly gecko
>>81403702
Holy shit it actually updated this year
Twice, even
>>81403982
And it's only the beginning of april. I have hopes.
>>81404067

Floraverse is nice.
>>81404674
Any page where I can read it? Preferably not tumblr?
Cosmic Scoundrels.
High flying and glammy science-fantasy action stuff. In space.
Matt Chapman & Andy Suriano.
I'm kinda surprised no one ever talks about it here... But on the other hand the comic is still in the stage of setting things up.
Plus the update pace has gotten a bit glacial too.
>>81404794
There is a page.floraverse.com
Comic got forgotten and just faded away in the end. But the game he was working on did actually release recently, and seems to have done okay.
Anyone remember a comic about the crew of a backwater spaceship refueling station / cheap gas station? I recall reading it, probably at least a decade ago. I think there were three main characters, at least one was a robot, an early joke about shitty space hotdogs, the planet below selling them parts, and aliens who keep moving the space lane markers. And a running joke about someone who is stuck in space between a damaged spaceship and their refueling station. The art was bad, mspaint level, but they had an archive that took me a month to get through back then. Any ideas?

I'm still looking for an archive of all their artwork that got deleted when their site went down
http://www.mspaforums.com/showthread.php?59534-THE-BOOK-OF-GLINT-Map-Guide-To-World-s-End-Chapter-01-The-Arrival
Site's currently down for maintenance, and yeah, it's an early expy of Prequel with inferior writing, but about a few pictures in, the author gets really good with the art.
>>81404674
I don't get the ending to the newest one, was it all just the fat racoon's self insert fanfiction?
So what makes a webcomic popular and other fall into obscurity.Don't try to say consistent updates I see those Ava's Demon and Prequel threads.
Did anyone read theslackerz way back in 2010?
>>81405825

...This scene
This scene, this was one of the greatest panels in webcomic history. Holy shit, if anyone wants a read about an experimental webcomic that doesn't go on for too long and is a very nice read, go read 1/0. That's the title.
>>81411275
How bad was it? I remember hearing that was ending on /v/ about 2 months ago.
I wonder if there ever has been a satisfying conclusion to a long-running webcomic series that actually ended? I like 8-bit theatre's ending.
>>81412936
He asked about the comic not the artist.
Does anyone know what webcomic this fucker comes from? It was a slice of life comic with a chubby girl with lots of cats and her boyfriend. This particular cat was called Cloud (yes, that Cloud). Also, there was one strip where she squeezes her cheeks together and it sounds like hentai noises. I've been trying to find it and it's killing me.

I binged the whole thing not that long ago. That weird incest scene felt pretty out of place compared to everything else. Also I didn't count 3 transformations but whatever.
>>81415316
I know right? I feel there was something there that we were missing out on whenangle eye boinked his sister
But I suppose that was the charm of the story. A lot of things were deliberately hidden from the reader, and it worked toward the benefit of the work as a whole.
>>81415316
>>81415410
incest? i completely missed that wow
Casey and Andy. Written and drawn by Andy Weir, who would later write the book that The Martian was based on. A lot of science and math jokes, and can actually be pretty funny at times. The best part are the arcs, which involve time travel, alternate universes, god and satan, and a bunch of other concepts. It's pretty good.
He also had another one called Cheshire Crossing, a crossover between Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, and Peter Pan. Looooooooooots of jailbait in that one.
>>81387769
Ha ha, I like Subnormality too but /co regularly goes deep autismal over it, but yeah, they know about it, don't worry.

Not so much a synopsis of the comic as a whole, since a lot (A LOT) of extra bullshit is going on. That's just a synopsis of the apocalyptic virus.

Zebra Girl.

Not exactly a web comic (it's a web serial) but I found this back in January. Like ten people total know about it, not even joking. It's kinda... eh, but I think it's improving. It started back in December and the creator uploads a new 'part' every 25th of each month.

>no mention of Road Waffles
I guess it was probably just me, then. Dunno what the fucking hangups in that comic were. Weird creepo dude.
Also, Avalon. Some Canadian high school love drama with I think 0% supernatural shit involved.
God. I wonder what happened to all the webcomics I used to follow and read. I haven't even read them in a solid decade, save for Homestuck which I abandoned back in 2012, and now I check out It Hurts once in a while. That's it.
It feels weird to have the internet be in such discreet chunks in my mind, from 1995 to 2000, then to 2005, and it's sort of just blurred into an increasingly hostile and flashy mess since then.
Staccato. It pains me that everything but a few pages is lost, and the few pages are mostly "i swear im back from hiatus" jokes
>>81421610

Last I checked it was still on hiatus and not dead. And will remain that way until the legal issues are over.

Is this a Watchmen reference? Dude's blue too.

Because it is the most annoying version of Iceberg pacing I have ever seen. It is going somewhere... so impossibly slowly. Nomrally, you either have comics that never really go anywere, like WOMP! or SMBC. They have their thing, and just keep doing it forever. On the other hand, you have comics that have some level of story, like Digger or Spacetrawler. They go somewere, and then are done. Hell, you even have shit like Sluggy that goes, but never really gets somewere... but it at least raps up storylines from time to time. Free fall just... keeps going. Not like it is overlong... but like this is the pace it should be. Hell, if it keeps going for another 30 years, it might even end.

Oh, it is.
>>81415257
you read the two comics after? A LOT less surreal, but given the starting point not really to big of a deal. Also, they make significantly more sense.
>>81426392
Yep, that's the one. It started off bad, didn't really improve much, and last I checked it was trying very hard to have a serious plot.
Not a half bad thread.
monster pulse. kids and monsters, the latter taking its form after stealing a part of you, so to speak. don't let them die or you are fucked

I-i-is this true about the big boobs hurting your back?
Dragon tails and Alien dice

Alien Dice, were a large part of a characters back story is that he was forcibly given a healing factor so he couldn't suicide. To save others the horror... imagine twilight had a baby with pokemon, and a space opera. Now, in generally single panel comic form. Except, this time the author self insert is a red head.
It is so bad... that is actually all of the details I can remember. The rest has been purged as a self defense mechanism.
I'm sure people here know it, but I've never seen it discussed here, so fuck it. I read the shit out of this in middle school.
Return to Sender.
Special commendation: Road Waffles
The author dropped off the face of the internet some months ago

Puke Force is insane in the best possible way. It was online originally but got updated VERY sporadically, last time I'd checked it hadn't been updated in over a year, but apparently now it's not only finished but it was published earlier this year and the comics aren't online anymore.

>but I've never seen it discussed here
Because it ended years ago? Back when it was active there were threads about it.

>Return to Sender
I remember reading this years ago and then suddenly stopping. Didn't it stop updating abruptly?

oh man i love shit like this, bless you anon.

yup

>Jack is a good comic
holy shit there are people that unironically think this
sure the comic has interesting ideas, until you realize they were mostly plagiarized and lifted from films. with the extra edge, author's blatant rape fetish and ugly tiny toons style art, there really isn't a single redeemable aspect to this shitpile.

Ended recently, I'm no furry in any way but I absolutely loved this

Anyone remember The Japanese Beetle?
No? Just me, then?
Awright...

It fails like plan 9.
Fucking gloriously.
Individually all of the things that you mentioned are awful, yes, but as a whole it is something beautiful.
As If! - The Webcomic
This is literally the only image I can find after 10 minutes of googling... There is an angry brunette who is friends with a ditzy blonde and high school antics ensue.
