The first issue actually had a fill-in artist, which is why the first page or two of Dick's fight sequence looks so good, and then the rest just looked shit. You can even tell where the change happens, Dick goes from being sexy with nice hair, to weird-faced and less hair. Paulo Siquerra is really good, and he certainly knows how to draw cool characters, and he has Dick's design down (does he know how to draw his ass, though, that's the question). But fill-in on issue #1? That's bad. We might get fill-in artists on #2 as well.

The Flash series is introducing Jesse Quick this season (well... she already showed up last week and this week, but she doesn't have any powers). Considering the new DCYOU look for FLash was obviously riffing off the CW suit, and the plot for Reverse Flash and Barry's dad and such, I think DC is pushing the comic to be more like the show. We might see Jesse soon. It'll just take a while before we can even hope for JesseDick to be a thing.

He was then hyped up as leading a resistance movement, and Johns tried to set up a team-up with Owlman to take down the CSA, but I guess plans fell through. So that isn't really his fault.
That doesn't change that the book was delayed for so long the 7-issue long event took 9-10 months to finish. Imagine being a Dick fan, with DIck being strapped to a chair for 9-10 months.
