/co/ probably reads newpaper funnies as often as the average normie, if not a little bit more
the problem is that it's not amazing beyond the potential to make fun of it
Same with heathcliff and a bunch of other stuff we rag on and make tons of edits for
It's a less than funny newspaper comic
So we're all agreed this is great, right?
>>82729961
Yes.
Yes.
I personaly give it a 7/10 overall, but I enjoyed it more than that.
It has tons of flaws, stupid decision and a director that needs to be put on a leash, but I enjoyed myself a lot. The 4 times I've seen it.

THE TRUTH
The male frogs run around naked, but the female frog has to wear clothes. Why does a frog even have breasts anyway? This Netflix cartoon is premiering in a month or so.

Not in my book!
Was always strange how compared to Peg and Roxanne, Sylvia had a more pronounced "muzzle" mouth since most of the girls in the Goofy cartoons were practically just button nosed chicks.

>DC Comics’ Hanna-Barbera revival begins next week, and the publisher has assembled a perfect creative team for the flagship title, Future Quest. Writer Jeff Parker, artist Evan “Doc” Shaner, and colorist Jordie Bellaire have done exceptional work together in the past on books like Flash Gordon and Convergence: Shazam, proving they have a strong understanding of how to interpret classic characters for modern audiences without losing sight of the qualities that made these properties popular in the first place. They have a formidable challenge with this new project, which has them bringing various Hanna-Barbera franchises together in one sprawling crossover series, but their past work together proves that they’re more than qualified to tell this ambitious story.
>These preview pages of Future Quest #1 detail the last stand of the Space Force against the Omnikron, beginning the issue with a rush of thrilling energy as the cosmic police force bands together to stop a planetary threat. Shaner is heavily influenced by the work of Alex Toth, who originally designed many of the characters appearing in Future Quest, and he gets the opportunity to lean into that influence with this title. The action in these preview pages is smooth and powerful, the environment is full of textured detail, and the characters are expressive and boldly designed. Bellaire’s rich coloring elevates the already impressive artwork, immediately establishing a tense atmosphere with the contrast of warm and cool colors on the page before pumping up the heat for the sequence’s big explosive moment. There’s immense artistry on display here, and it will be a delight to see that talent applied to characters like Space Ghost, Jonny Quest, The Herculoids, and many, many more.
Posting the variants later
I'll be reading Space Ghost as George Lowe.
It's Donut Steel time! Post your original character and story ideas, get feedback, and maybe someone will take a drawing request if you're lucky.Try to keep it positive, don't just say "you're an autistic faggot and your OC is shit"

this character is a firefighting robot that was re-purposed for arena combat. She attacks using high-pressure water jets and can create small storm clouds.
I need some help with the design because I can't draw robots at all.
since we have the "how is your webcomic going" threads i and you can post oc's there too, i thik these threads are a little redundant now
>storm trooper
a member of the Canadian Expeditionary Force young Alex Addy (names a WIP) was issued a seemly normal Ross rifle to use as a sniper. however this gun was unique compared to it's brethren as it's wood was made from a forest where a first nation tribe made shaman staffs from.
during the battle of Ypres the magic in the wood activated giving Alex power over storms, allowing him to push away as much of the chlorine gas as his poor control of the magic could.
he then spent much of ww1 and 2 battling other supers until he retired having become a national icon for many Canadians during that era. his grandson would later find the magic gun and become the storm trooper of the 21st century but that a story for a another time.
now I have a bit of a issue on what having control over storms would mean in terms of superpowers, especially for a soldier. I'd like to hear any ideas you guys have for something like that.
one idea I had was that when ever he used the powers a very small storm would show up messing up the aim everyone but him. think a weaponized version of the storm clouds that show up over a cartoon characters head when they get sad.
what do you guy's think good, bad or ugly?
Was it really that bad?
No. It was great. If you think the "cringe" scenes are bad, then you didn't get it.
Also, you didn't like SM2 either (raindrops keep fallin)
>>82728916
I agree with this.
Another aspect is Venom. Raimi was forced to include him so he decided to take the character in a different direct and make him an evil version of Peter. Hence casting Eric as Eddie Brock.

I never hated it
I get the whole stuffing multiple plot lines wasnt optimal but it wasnt an awful movie
