I'm a script doctor, and WB recently hired me and three others who coordinate the scripts for their upcoming superhero movies, working with the assigned scriptwriters to create a cohesive tone and order of events, because one of their aspirations to differentiate themselves from Marvel Studios is to, rather than doing "Phases", have one ovearching storyline that spills into multiple movies, with the events of one reflecting on the other.

BTW, I have also done gigs for Marvel andthey're totally getting Spider-Man back. They even have an actor in mind.
