It may be because i don't read comics or knew who the Mandarin was except for tgat Iron Man Cgi Tv Series but i fpund this movie great. Good but not stupod comedy and action scenes just like Captain America 2

Hey /co/, i've been reading the recommended DD runs, currently reading Ann Nocenti's stuff. Is it REALLY considered essential to read it ? It keeps hammering you with preachy ecological shit and it feels like watching Captain Planet. Which run should i bother with instead ?
