so, is this still canon?
What does your heart tell you?
>>78309160
It's as canon as you believe the prequel movies to be.
>Selena Kyle
>Harley Quinn
>Poison Ivy
Except for Tahlia, is there any female Bat-villain that Bruce hasn't turned gay?
>>78315385
Roxy Rocket
He has to begin turn male bat-villains gay now.
They are bisexual not gay
Hey kid, you wanna see a dead body?
Is this any good?
Does /co/ like it?
The comic is very good. The tie-in special is fantastic.
I haven't seen the animated movie but I hear that it's alright.
It's DC's version of Marvels.
>>78315025
I haven't read the comic but the animated movie didn't do much for me. I would guess that the comic is significantly better judging by your comments.
So,
/a/ has Neon Genesis Evangelion
/lit/ has Blood Meridan
/mu/ has Loveless
/tv/ has The Wire
/v/ has Deus Ex
/vr/ has DOOM
What is /co/'s holy jewel?
>>78290777
Geez, this made me realize that 4chan doesn't only have a HORRIBLE taste, but completely misses the point that their "jewels" tries to convey.
>>78290777
I guess Fantasia could count? At least as far as animation goes...
I'm pretty sure our 'holy jewel' is that Clarissa comic.
Y'know, with the incest, paedophilia and all.
Every problem Legend of Korra had, had a precursor in The Last Airbender. Ongoing romantic relationship had zero chemistry (I'm looking at you, Zuko and Mai). Despite linking elements to philosophy in the lore, gaining new ability was seldom linked to character development. Aang never really embraced poorly articulated philosophy on water, earth and fire, he just unlocked the abilities when plot time had come. And let's not forget avatar state, that Aang failed to unlock through mental discipline as guru taught him and instead unlocked it by means of acupuncture rock.
Character development for the lead? What's this? Aang started the story by running away from responsibility to North Pole, get my the middle story by running away from responsibility to Katara and resolved plot by running away from responsibility to a lionturtle. Let's not forget Lionturtle that conviniently showed up in the end so Aang could avoid taking a moral stand.
If not for enjoyable filler, you'd hate Aang too. Should it be condensed into a Korra-lenght seasons, it would be terrible.
>>78314966
Aang DID unlock the avatar state through mental discipline, but just as he was about to unleash a can of whoop-ass on everyone with it he took a lightning bolt in the chakra point. The acupuncture rock hit him right in the damaged chakra and let him use it again.
>>78315024
>Aang DID unlock the avatar state through mental discipline
And spent the most of the next story nurturing his love for Katara despite being warned against it.
I really don't buy it because he was all like "Sorry Katara, I let you go" and then jumps out of cover to save her and gets shot for this.
>>78314966
TLA had Sokka, Iroh, Toph etc etc and other strong supporting characters. LoK had.. Varrick and maybe Zaheer. Aang sucked, but his supportijg cast really made it up. Korra on the otherhand.
Should I start watching?
If only to compare to the CG show that comes years after.
>Have at it
It's not canon. Don't bother.
>>78314724
>Start watching
It's less than three hours long. Just watch it and find out.
Unless you're talking about the CGI tv show, in which case yes.
What does /co/ think of this man and his works?

he makes me really uncomfortable

I was sad when they had that later episode where Jack outclassed him in everything.
>>78314659
In the same episode it shows him going to hell and back just to get Jack's memories back.
And after that he still wanted to drive Jack to land.
Why is Justice League United the best Justice League?
Too bad it's ending.

How many times have the Asgardians been wiped out by Ragnarok in the Marvel Universe? Just once?

Did Martian Manhunter (2015) get cancelled or sumshit?
Same for Antman
Where did my socks go?

No? Neither of them are cancelled.
As much as I wasnt really a fan of Returns, I really fucking want to see the sequel, even if it's in comic form, the Brainiac plot sounds fucking nuts but awesome and I also thought Brandon Routh was a pretty good superman/clark kent
Here is the details for the sequel
>Singer’s The Man of Steel takes place several years after Superman Returns where people are used to having Supes back.
New Krypton, Lex Luthor’s growing island that Superman tossed into space has grown into a speherical moon that the people of Earth can see.
>The new moon attracts attention of alien visitors however, and a big alien ship arrives.
Superman flies up to check it out. It carries another Kryptonian survivor. Party time.
Clark takes his newfound friend on a tour of Earth but this other Kryptonian is puzzled as to why Superman hasn’t used his powers to fix the world of its problems (hunger, war, etc.). I kind of like this guy.
>Superman explains the rule of not interfering with development of Earth.
The visitor disagrees and aims to use his powers to “fix” the world with his first mission being to intervene in a feud between two third world countries. War breaks out but the Kryptonian takes things into his own hands and ends it quickly by annihilating their armies.
For his second opening act, the new alien visitor lays down rules for the entire world, saying that there will be no more wars or he will deal with the aggressor country.
The big modern societies of the world are in favor of this, applauding the new “hero” who is now willing to share advanced tech and use his powers to end the world’s other problems. Those who disagree feel the wrath.
>>78314009
>As a result, Earth’s familiar Kryptonian, Superman, has been outcasted since he didn’t do this earlier and kept advanced technology from them.
>Suspicious of the other Kryptonian, Supes examines the ship to find it loaded with clones of his new friend.
>Using the ship’s computers, he find out this other Kryptonian and clones are actually an artificial intelligence which has grown on its own since Krypton has destroyed. Its/His name: Brainiac.
>Over the years since Kryptonian’s explosive end, Brainiac has travelled from world to world, “fixing” them and then destroying them and Earth is his new target. It was Brainiac who actually destroyed Krypton.
Superman tries to let the world’s leaders know and ends up battling Brainiac who can continue to resurrect into other clone bodies in stasis.
Eventually, the Man of Steel takes down the ship but Brainiac transfers his consciousness into Superman’s kid. Remember him?
>You can imagine the moral dilemma here. Earth or the Brainiac-infused boy? In the end, young Jason White is killed by his red-caped dad in order to save the world and fans who didn’t like the idea of Superman and Lois having a baby rejoice. Brainiac plus the removal of the kid storyline sounds like a good deal. I wonder how Lois takes that? James Marsden’s Richard White character probably isn’t too sad…
I think Routh would have fucking killed it with his lonely superman
>>78314029
MAN OF MURDER
>Transferring your consciousness it to an organic sentient host
>Killing your son
It still hurts /co/
It wasn't really a pilot, but that doesn't mean I can't be massively upset it didn't go anywhere. That trailer was so good.
Maybe someday.

Billy & Mandy, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter Lab and a ton of other stuff came from What a Cartoon!/ Oh Yeah! Cartoons/Cartoon Cartoons/whatever millions of other ways they had called it over the years.
I wish they would start that up again as I feel the best cartoons came from that. I personally felt Mina and the Count had a ton of potential and have like three existing episodes you can find on Youtube quite easily.
