Not capestuff but I know Leonardo DiCaprio's a big fan of underground comics. Jessica Hynes is really into alternative comics but I can't think of any actors who've played superheroes who are fans of the comics also.

DC has better A-List villains thanks to Batman and whatnot, but I believe Marvel has better B and C-List villains. At least, I find them more memorable.
I see minor DC villains as just guys for heroes to beat up, but I see minor Marvel villains as actual characters if that makes sense.
