I agree. "Hellfire" was amazing while the rest of the movie was kinda eh. Hellfire has Frollo being a deap, conflicted character while the rest of it he is just evil villain man.
Contrary to popular belief, most watchdog groups are alright villains doing sinful things so long as they're clearly spelled out as the villain.
The fact that the archdeacon was the villain to begin with was the bigger issue.
It was completely within the tone of the movie.
The gargoyles are what weren't.
