I was wondering why is it in the cases of Superman and to a lesser extent Batman people try to argue that Trunks are better than no trunks in a way that is objective rather than personal preference, yet i've never heard anyone bitch about any of the characters here for those same reasons.
Mind you punisher has a bit more skull going down to his waist, but beyond him they're all mostly single colored unitards with splashes of a different color up top (if even that at all).
Yet with Superman again and again I always hear 'it isn't personal preference....

Well obviously. I mean its why i prefer the trunks on them myself. It's just how i know them.
But the arguments I see aren't just that, i'm speaking about the people who objectively feel the lack of trunks is aesthetically worse than having them.

It's not a requirement, but if they look better, why would you not use them? (before you stick your dick up my ass, no, I am not talking about other characters) They work better on Supes than pretty much every other character, because they fit symmetrically with the S shield.

Does anyone think SU does references and homages a little too much? I normally don't mind it, but it feels like every episode, there at least two or three "blank is a reference to blank" moments. The fact that the Gamecube is a permanent design part of Steven's Room says it all. (Yet, I don't seem to mind when Bobby Hill is always playing a real Gameboy)
Does anyone else agree? Or do you enjoy the easter eggs?

Personally, I find it distracting when shows go out of their way to emphasize how overly not-real everything is, like having "McBurger" restaurants everywhere, or characters buying jeans that say "Old Army" on them, or whatever.

I've always loved the idea of GraphicAudio, I'm a sucker for the Dr. Who audio dramas, but they were always pretty hit or miss quality-wise because they were adapted from the novelizations rather than the actual comics.
I enjoyed the Daredevil one. Surprised they didn't adapt him to audio much sooner.
The Ms. Marvel ones are pretty cute too, if you like the original comic.

I'm involved with casting process for the upcoming "Justice League" movie from Warner Bros Pictures. Just thought I'd share.Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Ray Fisher, Viola Davis, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisemberg and Harry Lennix are confirmed so far. There are other eight casting processes ongoing, for what I hear are minor roles that will receive further expansion, and three main roles. They're all conducted using cover names and broad descriptions...

"Jonathan" (late 40s to early 60s) - Minor role. African American actors. Described as "brilliant, souful, unwavering". Shortlist is Ernie Hudson, Giancarlo Esposito, Forest Whitaker, Joe Morton, but who they really want is Sidney Poitier.

It's hard to tell, is it just the mask that changed or is it a totally new suit? I swear it looks like it's on the whole a somewhat more vibrant red than the original, but that could just be lighting in some scenes.

The whole suit seems to have been revised.
What did you think of the mask? I was worried about it when they first showed it in promotional material but in action it really worked well. I actually didn't find myself missing the pre costume.

It's still not great at certain angles, but it certainly looks a little better than the original. It looks best when his head is slightly tilted downward.
Really, the problem is with Charlie Cox's face more than the costume.

They've already come out and said they didn't have enough episodes and so the current arc is unresolved at the end of the season. So basically, don't expect anything more than a really good episode of The Venture Brothers.

Think of Quasimodo holding Esmerelda above his head at the gates of the Notre Dame while yelling "SANCTUARY!".
Think of Mulan turning around to that crowd of hundreds bowing to her after she saves the Emperor.
A girl might sing a catchy song on a snowy mountaintop, or you might feel bad for a fox and a rabbit, but there's no equivalent to any of the stuff I've listed above....
