The problem is that unless you play all day and walk 24/7 newer people will be left in the dust and completely unable to catch up because of the huge gap.

Some no lifer was already level 12 with pokemon at 500+CP on launch day. He took all the guys we have with no competition since everyone else is limited to pokemon in the 200-300 range. Now they're people at lv 15-17 that own the gyms with pokemon over 1200CP.

Not to mention you get huge stardust deposits from having gyms so they'll just keep powerleveling unmatched.

A couple questions

1.What does CP mean? I see this number next to wild pokemon i encounter

2. When I am out looking for pokemon, there is a little white rectangle on the bottom right of the screen that shows nearby pokemon. I tap a greyed out pokemon that I do not have, and then it shows its icon on the bottom screen with footprints, what am I supposed to do after that?

When you evolve your pokemon's CP is A little more then doubled. My 287 Evee went to a 708CP. Now it costs more dust to power up. So max out your power before evolving.
