So I think I figured out why trannies exist. Very early in the history of our species, at the dawn of time, we set roles out for men and women. Men, being generally bigger and stronger, hunted food and protected the tribe, while women, smaller but typically more perceptive, gathered the plant portion of the tribe's food and cared for the children. As a result, we had and have two very different types of behavior ingrained into us to carry on this model, depending on our genitals. Transgender individuals came about not necessarily as a result of nature or nurture, but because they felt more at home in the other sex's traditional role- men who felt more at home cooking, cleaning and raising their children, or women who wanted to fight or learn a trade. This evolved into these individuals actually believing they were born with the wrong genitals, as opposed to understanding that their wants and desires simply differed from the norm for their genitals.
