Asus memo pad 7 is the only cheap tablet with an acceptable pixel density. I remember pre-ordering it almos 2 years ago for 150USD. Good battery life, good screen, fast for a bunch of web stuff at once, good wifi chip. Thanks to that tablet, Ive been able to knock out most of my backlog over the last year. Just a warning, theres bloatware from both google and asus on that thing, some of em you cant even remove. Not so bad considering none of those will ever start up once you hide them in a folder.

I am. It literally revolutionized my manga reading abilities. Before, I was mostly watching 20+ series per season, and only 1-2 mango for several chapters once every half a year. It was painfull to sit for long time before the screen, and my megane power grew up thanks to this. Then I bought a NookHD+ (1080p display), shit tablet but great e-reader, and started using MangaRock app (with batato access). It made me go through around 150 series within 6 months. It's been 2 years now and I'm so used to it that I can't even recall the pain of reading things on the desktop LCD anymore. Switched to Samsung Galaxy Tab S 3 weeks ago and it's even better, as the app runs seamless now and the download is faster. I love this. I can finally read mango before sleeping in my bed, or during a traffic jam in some bus/subway on my way to work. Or on a plane/train when traveling abroad. Lastly, someone from here recomended me this 2,5 years ago - I'm humbly gratefull, it's the best.
