While Ping-Pong was great, it wasn't the holy combination that is Yuasa and Morimi. Same reason why Uchouten wasn't better, you need both to make an Animu of the Forever.
This is probably a troll thread, but in all honesty Tatami was fucking amazing, and nothing in the last 4 years has really managed to come close to its start-to-finish sublime quality, creative and beautiful art style, and a story that genuinely hooks the viewer.
We may get something better eventually, but gems like TG are few and fucking far between.
