Hard to put into words but for one, Araragi is a friendly lecher version of Ginko, while Akihito is just a friendly lecher. There is a lot more playing with names and words in Monogatari and Ginko than there is in Kyoukai no Kanata.
In Kyoukai no Kanata, things are resolved through fights while in the other two, there's usually something deeper than that.
Not to mention the episodic nature. Except with monogatari it spans multiple episodes.

The scene is fine, not spectacular but also not bad. Though they could have drawn Archer more heavily damage, like all the muscle is scatter and we can see his humerus barely attach to his scapula.
