I just finished Overlord. Is there a sequel planned? The series ends before the plot can really take off, and it's clear that what's going to follow is going to be much more interesting than what has been shown so far (which was, essentially, unfruitful reconnaissance).
The concept is refreshing and I'd really like to see its potential realised.
Alternatively, does the manga already go any further into the novel's story than the anime did?
It's just one of those countless anime that are produced to fuel the manga/LNs sells, that end in the middle of nowhere and cover 5% of the story at best.
