Short summary:
There weren't just 4 villains as shown in the previous chapter. There are actually 10 and the 4 were waiting to meet up with the rest.
On the third night the two classes are going to have a competition of courage against each other (Kimotameshi. Pretty standard in manga I'm sure most of you have heard of it. I think there's a word for it in English but I can't think of it right now). The ones that failed the end of term test can't join, and must stay behind to take remedial classes with Eraserhead.
Class B is assigned as the ones who will do the scaring first. Class A is divided into two people a group, and each group depart after the other in 3 minute intervals. Due to the fact there are 15 people in Class A one of them has to be alone.
1st Group: Tokoyami (Shadowbird) & Shouji (Tentacool)
2nd Group: Bakugou & Todoroki
3rd Group: Jirou (Earjacks) & Hagakure (Invisitits)
4th Group: Yaoyorozu & Aoyama (Navel Laser)
5th Group: Urarararaka & Toad
6th Group: Ojiro (Tails) & (Mineta) Grapist
7th Group: Iida & Kouda (Sadrock)
8th Group: Deku (Nerd)
When the competition progressed to the 5th Group, a cloud of black smoke (probably Dabi, going by the spoilers) appeared in the forest and knocks Class B out. Kendou uses her yaoi hands to push away the black haired chick shown on Chapter 70 (See image. Not the one with the sex hair. The one with the straight hair, I think.)
Poisonous smoke fills the entire forest, Toga appears behind Uraraka and Toad.
A villain dressed similarly to the Hero Killer appears in front of the remaining 3 groups that were waiting to depart (probably lizard guy). He beats Pixie-Bob.
A mysterious shadow stands behind Kouta in Kouta's secret base.
Color pages are the Wild Wild Pussy Cats & Deku.
So the villains waited until the strongest people were sepperated from the whole group.
And a night fight? Time for some Tokoyami Shadow Rampage!

Kouta's dad is the big naked rock monster we saw in the last Stain chapter. That's why he seemed so chill in the middle of the forest if he's able to communicate with the animals.
