She's like shinji, but done right.

She's more like Rei though
>>139771885
Nothing like shinji.
im really struggling to get through the orgional eva after watching the rebuilds and loving them.
how do people actually enjoy old anime? like i can appreciate some of the stuff being good for its time but nowadays they are pretty much unwatchable. they have really dated animation and the acting is usually pretty bad and forced which is made even worse by the bad audio quality
i understand that many of them still have good stories but the really bad animation, video quality (grain every where is so fucking distracting) and acting really takes you out of the the experience.
i figure that if any of these old anime have a good story they have been remade or will be remade like eva so there is no point really in watching the original
yet some people claim to actually prefer old anime, even ancient stuff from the 80s and even the fucking 70s
are these people just hipsters pretending to like it or is there something im missing?
please /a/ help me understand the appeal of anime from the 90s and earlier

Tearju or Mikado
>>139768951
Both.
>>139768951
Mikado and Lala were always my favourites, but Tearju sure has jumped up there to take Lala's spot since she was introduced.Loli Lala is also great
>>139769080
Lala is Bull crap shitty taste
Quick, /a/! She wants to be a grown up woman, what do we do?
Pat head condescendingly
Feed her less
>>139768947
Let her sit on my face
So, just finished this after the thread from 2 days ago.
Would an NTR ending have been better/more appropriate?
>>139764587
No. They should both just die. NTR means that one of them is happy, both should suffer both should pay.
No.
I swear that Fuuka will be the last manga i will read from SEO.
Hi 4chan.I am a animator for KyoAni in Japan. I am currently working in animation for Full Metal Panic! Vertical Shaft, please feel free to ask me questions.

Where the fuck is Haruhi S3?

I remember this image.
Are you cute?
(´・ω・`)
Now be honest /a/, would you love your waifu if you found out she was used goods? Would that decision change at all if it was rape? What about if she was kidnapped, turned into a sex slave and had escaped?
>>139762128
If it were rape I'd probably care for her even more as to "heal" her.
I don't have much of a problem with used goods anyway. Falling out of love with someone is grim inevitability that awaits all humans. Relationships that have lasted 50+ either biological and circumstantial miracles, or are loveless.
What I do have a problem with is adultery.
>>139765468
>applying normie logic to anime
But you are right, used goods is not that big of a deal compared to adultery.
>>139762128
Oddly, i would probably find a girl more repulsive if she was raped than if she was normal used goods. Not sure why.

I might not be the greatest actor, but I walk into every project willing to work hard.
So, yeah. RtK.
In the end, the only real statement I care to make about RtK, is you either
>spend a bunch of time with RtK, learning only the general english meaning of the kanjis concept, without any readings or context for it, which may or may not help you learn faster in the long run
vs
>spend a bunch of time studying actual japanese from a vn or whatever
If you think the former will work for you go ahead.

Is this show the next Kiniro Mosaic?
i'm cautious about this since Bakuon was mediocre and Pan de Peace was horrible

I miss this series.
>Now that Dragon Ball Super Volume 1 illustrated by Toyotarō-sensei is in stores, I wanted to interview the two of you. Thank you both for your time.
Toriyama:
Thank you.
Toyotarō:
Thank you, this is an honor!
>This manga mostly consists of the “Universe 6 Arc”. How did you come up with this story?
Toriyama:
With the “Battle of Gods Arc” and “Revival of ‘F’ Arc” it was one tense story after another, so this time I wanted to have something relatively simple and cheerful… That was what got the ball rolling. I figured I should change up the pace.
Toyotarō:
The “Universe 6 Arc” is Dragon Ball‘s first tournament in a long time!
Toriyama:
I had tournaments for a little bit at the very start and end of the “Majin Boo Arc”, but I pretty much left those hanging (laughs).
Toyotarō:
In that last one, Goku took off with Oob in the very first match. [Actually the second match]
Toriyama:
Yeah (laughs). Whenever I go re-read my own manga volumes to think up new story ideas, I’m always amazed at how much I’ve forgotten (laughs).
>Toyotarō-sensei, in your opinion what makes Toriyama-sensei‘s artwork so appealing?
Toyotarō:
I’m not sure I can put it into words, but, well… His characters are perfectly stylized, and his objects are very detailed. With a single image he paints a picture of an entire world… But words just can’t do it justice. There’s an indescribable sense of excitement that pulses through me whenever I read his work!
>You’ve loved Dragon Ball since you were a child, so how does it feel to be drawing it yourself now?
Toyotarō:
But I’m not! Not at all… The more I draw, the clearer the gap between me and Toriyama-sensei becomes (sweat).
Toriyama:
That’s not true! You might be the closest person to match my art style, even counting the animators.
Toyotarō:
No way!
Toriyama:
You’re really good at composition! It looks so cool; these days there’s no way I could draw such energetic artwork! Whenever I supervise anime and whatnot, there’s always something that bugs me and that I’ll ask to have fixed. But when I look at your storyboards, I can just take it easy. I can give it the OK in no time flat; it really makes things convenient (laughs).
Toyotarō:
Oh no… This whole time I was afraid of adding to your frustrations. Since the original story you give me is text, I constantly have your manga by my side as I draw. I don’t want readers to say it doesn’t feel like Dragon Ball… But at the same time, I also want to stretch my imagination and come up with brand new action and different kind of expressions.
Toriyama:
Just go wild! I won’t mind a bit (laughs).
>Toriyama-sensei, what advice do you have for Toyotarō-sensei?
Toriyama:
Frankly… I’m perfectly satisfied with things the way they’re going (laughs).
Toyotarō:
U-Um… Really? There’s nothing you think needs to be fixed or thrown out? Don’t hold back for my sake… (sweat).
Toriyama:
Hahahaha (loud laughter). Not really… (thinks about it a little bit). Nope, not a thing! Well OK… If I have to say something, then I guess your compositions would be even better if you utilized more diverse angles. Also, I think it would be great if you included more of your own original ideas. I’m really grateful to you. I never thought an artist like you would come along to draw the continuation of my story!
Toyotaro sounds like he really likes working with Toriyama
Wonder how he's supposed to catch up to the anime though.
Finally, could you tell us just a little bit about where the story of Dragon Ball Super is heading?
Toriyama:
I’ve got an idea for a story about the “future” of “a certain somebody”. And I’m thinking of combining that together with a new “universe”. It’ll be simple enough for kids to enjoy… hopefully (laughs).
Toyotarō:
“A certain somebody”…It’s someone I’m a huge fan of! I’m really looking forward to it!!
