I really liked it. Its a 9/10 for me. I feel its the sort of show that /a/ either hates or loves.
I liked it, but I prefer the manga. The anime sadly skipped over the murderers complete backstory. I'm not really satisfied with either version of the ending, but it's fine. Getting a satisfying ending to any media is pretty rare.

Chrollo SHOULD win. He has prep time and prior knowledge of Hisoka's abilites, while Hisoka has no idea what abilities Chrollo will use/can use. I still don't think he will win, simply because it's obvious when you look at their capabilities that chrollo has the advantage. What kind of author is going to enjoy writing/drawing the most predicable outcome? Something will interupt the fight or Hisoka will win by pulling victory from the jaws of defeat as usual.
So I just finished Log Horizon, and overall liked it. The setting was ok, the plot was kinda light-hearted but interesting, the protagonist wasn't some stereotypical high school kid that has to "grow" and "mature" in the course of the series to find his "true strength" or whatever other bs shounen cliche, but one thing made me cringe over and over.
Why did whoever made this feel the need to make everyone praise the protagonist 10 times per episode? I could not stop cringing every time it happened. And all of that of course praising trivial...
